Leonardo was an excellent guide. He provided historical context to the sites we visited that was much better than other tours I attended. I would highly recommend this tour. I learned several new techniques to improve the use of the camera on my phone to quality photography.
Hi Ivor, thank you so much for the kind words! I’m thrilled to hear that the photography techniques we covered are already helping you get more out of your phone's camera. It was a pleasure sharing the history of the Gothic Quarter and El Born with you—I always strive to provide a deeper context than the standard tour. Happy shooting, and I hope to see you in Barcelona again!
We had the most beautiful couple photoshoot with Charlotte in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. From the very beginning, she made us feel relaxed and comfortable, which made the entire experience so natural and enjoyable. The setting in the Gothic Quarter was absolutely magical — the historic streets, charming alleys, and soft light created the perfect romantic atmosphere. Charlotte knew exactly how to use the architecture and hidden corners to capture timeless and artistic images. What we loved most was how effortless everything felt. She guided us gently while still allowing space for genuine moments between us. The photos truly reflect our connection and the special atmosphere of Barcelona. We couldn’t be happier with the results and will treasure these memories forever. We highly recommend Charlotte to any couple looking for authentic and romantic photos in Barcelona.
Thanks Wilson for this great review. We are so glad you also enjoyed the photo shoot with Charlotte and we are looking forward to see you next year again.
I’ve been to El Born many times, but this photo tour revealed so many hidden corners I’d never seen before. It’s not overwhelming with history — the focus is on photography (which is my passion) — but along the way, I still learned fascinating things about the area. We visited beautiful, off-the-beaten-path spots like the old post office, far from the usual tourist trail. It felt like exploring with good friends who happen to be incredible photographers and know Barcelona inside out. A wonderful experience I’d recommend to anyone who loves photography and wants to see a different side of Barcelona.
Thank you for the great feedback, we really appreciate it. See you soon.
Highly recommend Take a Photo Walk as a guided walking tour!! I did one with Charlotte (co-founder) for the Gothic Quarter area while in Barcelona for work. Charlotte was knowledgeable about photography and the Barcelona area and history, she was pleasant to walk with, and she was flexible based on what I was looking to achieve in the tour. I only had a few hours and a smartphone but it was so invigorating to talk with Charlotte about new ways of capturing a moment or framing a famous place in an interesting way! And even though I have been taking photos for years, she taught me tips for smartphone photography that I had no idea of, and that I've used multiple times since our photo walk. It's a great idea for a tour walk through Barcelona in a creative and new way.
Thanks you for joining us. We are glad you had such a great time with Charlotte and you found the tour fun and useful. Next time you visit Barcelona, plan in some time to join our tour in Sitges, you are going to love it! See you soon.
Tour guide was a no show. Only learned about it 15 minutes after our scheduled tour time from the tour operator.
Hi, Megan! We're glad you could join us for the photo walk at a different time that day, and we hope you enjoyed it. We sent the photos we took during the tour to your email address. We hope you received them. If you could modify this review, we would really appreciate it. We are a very small business, and negative reviews hurt our reputation. Thank you very much! Leonardo.
Leonardo crafted this photo walking tour based on his passion for Barcelona history and his creative eye for intriguing photo angles that make your pictures pop. Although I was the lone walker on this extremely sizzling July morning (go figure), Leonardo made every stop interesting with stories, details and historical context and showed me several clever photo tricks that set my pictures apart from regular tourist shots. I highly recommend him for the personal and professional touch he brings to the tour.
Thanks a lot for the great review. We really appreciate your words and hope to see you again in the future for another tour.
The photo walk was not touristy at all, but friendly and warm! We explored the 'real' city, where narrow alleys and ancient buildings co-exist with modern achitectural marvels. The hosts were very passionate and welcoming, which added an extra charm to the tour. Overall, I think we will come back for more!
Great review, thanks so much. We hope to see you soon again.
Charlotte and Leo were the perfect hosts. It's the perfect blend of history, photography, and exploring the beautiful gothic side of Barcelona.
thanks so much for the great review. We hope to see you again soon.
The photo walk completely changed how I see the city. Leo, our guide, not only knows the history, but also the lesser-known, real stories that make Barcelona so unique. He pointed out intricate details in buildings and streets, things I would have walked past without a second glance. Leo also helped us improve our photography skills, whether using a professional camera or just a phone. His tips on composition, lighting, and angles were incredibly useful! Leo has a very friendly and accommodating nature. He made sure everyone felt comfortable, whether they were beginners or experienced photographers. It wasn’t just a photo walk, it felt like exploring the city with a friend. If you’re in Barcelona and love photography (or just want to see the city from a fresh perspective), I highly recommend going with team!
Wonderful review, thanks so much. We are so glad you had a great time with us and hope to see you again.
It’s an amazing walk, very friendly, you have a little bit of everything. It’s a cool way to get fresh cool shots instead of typical tourist insta-photo while getting to know the heart of the city✨
thanks for the great review. We hope to see you again soon.
