We had a great time learning about the history of Vietnam and all the different caves in the area. On top of that our tour guide Lilly was very knowledgeable and professional, she made both days of our tour a lot more meaningful and enjoyable. We learned a lot from her! The price was fair for all the amenities we received, the food, home stay, pick up and drop off, and all of the different excursions we had access to.
Not recommended – book directly in Phong Nha! USD 198 per person sounds like a premium tour, but the reality was different. The main issue: for that high price, we expected a small and exclusive group. Unfortunately, the groups were large. You can get essentially the same experience from local operators in Phong Nha for a fraction of the cost. Other downsides: – The drop-off location was incorrect due to poor internal communication – The zipline has a 90 kg weight limit, which was never communicated in advance Positive points: – Pickup was arranged with only 30 minutes’ notice – The food was very good – The hotel was nice – The guides were really nice and also informative and motivated, thank you! – The activities themselves were enjoyable Conclusion: The tour quality itself was okay, but the price is simply not justified. Book the same activities directly in Phong Nha and you will get a very similar experience for much less money.

Regarding Paradise Cave, this is one of the most visited natural attractions in Central Vietnam and part of a public UNESCO-listed national park. Visitor traffic can vary depending on the season and daily conditions, and all operators share the same public access areas. We would also like to clarify that the zipline weight limit (40–90 kg) was clearly stated in our Important Notes before departure, as it is a mandatory safety regulation established by the activity operator. As for pricing, OTA-listed rates include platform commissions and related service costs. Local walk-in tours in Phong Nha may initially appear less expensive, but they often differ significantly in what is included. Our package combines accommodation, transportation, entrance fees, meals, equipment, English-speaking guides, and full trip coordination into one complete experience for travelers who value convenience, comfort, and reliable organization throughout the trip. The caves were spectacular, especially Paradise Cave with its impressive formations. Dark Cave was pure fun, ziplining, paddling, mud bathing, all well-managed and safe. Our guide Jessica was a star. She had the perfect mix of knowledge, kindness, and humor. Lunch was fantastic, full of fresh ingredients and delicious local dishes. The hotel was quiet and comfortable, with friendly staff who made us feel at home. Trinh handled all communication beautifully. A truly wonderful adventure.
