Vous serez exposé à voler dans un biplan de cockpit ouvert au-dessus des montagnes McDowall. Le biplan Stearman a été utilisé il y a 80 ans pour enseigner aux cadets de l'aviation de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, donc vous apprendrez dans un morceau authentique d'histoire. Il n'y a que 2 places dans l'avion, une pour vous et une pour moi. Nous allons commencer par une inspection avant vol suivie d'une explication des radios et des commandes. Nous pouvons voler en douceur et de niveau, ou nous pouvons ajouter quelques manœuvres plus énergiques pour ceux qui désirent une expérience plus palpitante. Vous serez invité à prendre les commandes dans le cadre de l'expérience. Du démarrage au retour du moteur prendra environ 30 minutes, bien que l'expérience entière dure environ 1,5 heure. Il s'agit d'une expérience unique où vous serez exposé au même type d'entraînement que la "Génération la plus grande" a fait pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. C'est comme voyager dans le temps près de 80 ans

I booked this open-cockpit Stearman biplane flight as a special experience for my wife, and she absolutely loved every minute of it! The flight on April 17th was thrilling yet smooth and safe. Sitting in the classic WWII-era Stearman with the wind rushing by gave her a real sense of adventure and freedom in the air. Craig (Donald Craig Judd) is a fantastic pilot—professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the aircraft. He made her feel completely comfortable and safe the whole time. She came back with a huge smile and said it was one of the most memorable experiences she’s ever had. This is a unique and exciting way to see the world from above. Every penny was worth it! I would highly recommend this flight to anyone looking for something special, whether as a gift or a personal adventure. You won’t regret it.
It was a really cool experience to get to ride in a Steerman over Phoenix! The instructor is super nice and the flight is really fun! He lets you take controls for a little bit and do some maneuvers if you’re comfortable, but you can just ride along too if that’s what you want. I had a great time and I would definitely recommend!!
This was a gift from my daughter as a "bucket list" experience and it did not disappoint. Craig did a great job explaining the history and the technology of the times before the flight. I was allowed to take controls briefly to get the "feel" of the airplane. What a treat!
