Amazing experience! Deck hands were chatty and friendly and answered all my questions. Seals were gorgeous of course
Thank you for the kind words, we are very pleased to hear you had a wonderful experience. Our crew are very passionate about what we do and of course who could forget the star of the show, the enquisitive, playful fur seals - aren't they just adorable! We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and we hope to welcome you on board again soon.
This 2-hour seal-watching experience is a peaceful and interesting excursion in appreciating Australia's wildlife and natural beauty. It's lovely being out on the water and then being rewarded by seeing lots of frolicking and sleeping seals. Recommended for international visitors as well as locals.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We’re so glad you enjoyed your time out on the water with us! There’s something special about being out on the water and then arriving at Seal Rocks to see the magnificant seal colony. It means a lot that you’d recommend the experience to both locals and visitors to Australia. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and hope to welcome you back on board again soon!
You get to see lots of seals for a very decent amount of time. The commentary is good too. I'd say it's a must do and the price is reasonable.
Thank you for taking the time to write about your wonderful experience on our Seal Cruise. Our Captain and Crew are passionate about the local wildlife and environment and love sharing stories with passengers. We will surely pass your feedback on to them. We look forward to welcoming you on board again soon.
The trip to seal rock was amazing and staff were very friendly. I rated it 4 as we waited for 40 minutes for our pickup to arrive.
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review and for the kind words about the trip to Seal Rocks and our friendly crew 😊 We’re really glad you enjoyed the cruise. We’re sorry to hear about the delay with your pickup service. As transfers are not replated to us we are glad you made the cruise and enjoyed your experience with us.
The time and day we went the tide was too low to get near the rocks with the seals, nor could we go around the other side. So visibility was poor. The tide is totally predictable so there is no excuse for running a cruise at tide too low to deliver the experience. It was disappointing.
Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear the experience didn’t meet expectations. You’re absolutely right that tide levels are predictable, and we do take that into account when planning our cruises. That said, access to Seal Rocks can also be affected by swell, wind, and general sea conditions on the day. Even with the best planning, we sometimes have to adjust our route for the safety of our passengers, crew, and the wildlife. Seal Rocks is a wild and exposed part of the coast, and being out in the natural environment means conditions can shift quickly. While that’s part of what makes the area so special, we understand it can be disappointing when it impacts your experience. We hope you can join us again, if you do, please reach out we are always happy to offer advice on when the best time to travel is. Thank you!
Just amazing is how I would describe this little tour. Super organised crew, so helpful and knowledgeable. The seals were amazing to see in their natural habitat and the cake on our return was a highlight too! Thank you for making this an exceptional experience. Highly recommended!
Thank you so much for the wonderful review. We’re thrilled to hear you had such a great time on board and enjoyed seeing the seals in their natural habitat. The crew will really appreciate your kind words, and we’re glad the cake was a highlight too. Thanks for the recommendation, and we’d love to welcome you back soon!
Lots of seals on the rocks. Captain moved boat in different directions so everyone could see. Commentary was hard to understand from where we were.
Hi Penny! Thank you for your review. We're really glad you got to see lots of seals at the seal colony out at Seal Rocks. The skipper does a great job at repositioning the boat so everyone has a good look. We hope to have you onboard with us again soon!
It was a good experience and I liked it. The wind was bit chilly but as Sun was there it made our journey amazing. The seals were cute and a great site to behold.
Thanks for your feedback, glad to hear you enjoyed the cruise! It can definitely get a bit fresh out on the water, but with the sun shining and those seals putting on a show, it makes for a pretty special day. They really are a joy to watch. Thanks again for joining us!
Amazing experience, best part of our family trip to Philip island. Highly recommended, operator has provided great service and they have many staff to support all the visitors on board and even offered free self service coffee and cheese cake. It was baby friendly for our one year old and we had an amazing experience watching seals very close in their natural habitat.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we are very pleased to hear you enjoyed your cruise with us, and the seals up close in their natural habitat, it is a rather special experience! We are glad the complimentary tea, coffee and cake was also a hit! Thank you again for joining us and we hope to have you on board again soon!
Very nice experience, well framed by the team. We take the time to circle the rocks to see the hundreds of seals. Nice and helpful staff. A little more: unlimited hot tea, cakes and cookies:)
