Phare Circus est plus qu'un cirque acrobatique conventionnel. Les artistes créent et exécutent des histoires basées sur leurs propres expériences de vie. Issus de l’histoire récente, du folklore et de la société moderne, les artistes mêlent théâtre, danse, musique live et arts du cirque pour partager une partie de leur vie avec le public. Les interprètes viennent d'un milieu social et économique inimaginablement difficile. Ils découvrent et développent leurs compétences à l'école Phare Ponleu Selpak à but non lucratif. Ils sont en mesure de bien gagner leur vie et de transformer leur vie au cirque Phare, brisant ainsi le cycle de la pauvreté. Les artistes créent eux-mêmes les histoires en se basant sur les expériences réelles d'eux-mêmes et de leurs familles. Attendez-vous à l'inattendu. REMARQUE : Les invités de Phare Insider doivent arriver avant 18 h 15 pour la visite des coulisses des zones de travail des artistes, des techniciens et des costumes.

Were warmly welcomed on arrival and the warm experience just continued. The show itself was fabulous and showed off Cambodian skill and humor. You should go to this if you can. The back story is great.

The Cambodian Circus was such a fun time I can’t recommend it enough. We arrived at around 6:30 before the 8pm show. We enjoyed the local craft store before having a delicious dinner, with many options available, and a pre show performance by local artists. Then came the main event and boy was it fun. The talent was amazing and funny throughout. Not only is the show fantastic but the cause behind it is even better. This organization so worth supporting by simply getting your ticket's to enjoy a night at the circus. Don’t miss this if you are in Siem Reap

We had a great time at the Phare Cambodian Circus. It really was a treat, and goes to show that Chat GPT does recommend some great stuff! I would get there for drinks, visit the shop and see the free show, also the food available is great. Don’t just turn up for the show. We were in section A, and worth every penny. The show was outstanding, with the story lovely but chilling, telling the story of Cambodia in the 1970’s.

Very beautiful show. At once modern, classic, Kmer, and international. Alternation of acrobatics and moments of poetry. The mechanics of clowning and the troupe's athletic performance. Also a well-organized site that allows you to have dinner and showcase young artists before the show.

Arrive early so you can enjoy some the street food themed food before the show. The show does change so if you’re interested in seeing a specific show, book accordingly.
Touching, funny, professional and really talented actors/acrtress! «Circus» was bit misguiding title for me, but this was such a good show/theatre!

Had such a great cultural experience! The performers were incredibly talented and the storyline behind “Sokha” was very interesting and helped me to better u destined the history of Phare and Cambodia! So glad I saw this performance.

Do not miss out on this great, fun night out. The storytelling through music, paintings and dancing & acrobatics was so entertaining. Some of the lifts and tricks were unbelievable!!!! A highly recommended evening!
