Selcuk was a great guide. He was accommodating to our family needs and he made suggestions and we went through . He was knowledgeable , shared a lot and answered any questions we had.
We had an unforgettable day exploring the wonders of Ephesus, and much of that was thanks to our outstanding guide, Selçuk, and our excellent driver, Cemal. Selçuk’s knowledge, passion, and storytelling brought every site to life. At the House of the Virgin Mary, he helped us appreciate the spiritual significance of the stone house, the peaceful chapel, the prayer wall, and the sacred spring, all set in a beautiful wooded mountain setting. At the ancient city of Ephesus, Selçuk expertly guided us through Marble Street, Curetes Street, the magnificent Library of Celsus, the Great Theatre, Hadrian’s Temple, and the Agora. His explanations made it easy to imagine daily life in this remarkable ancient city. He also pointed out fascinating details in the Terrace Houses, including the stunning mosaics, frescoes, and advanced Roman engineering. The visit to the Basilica of St. John was equally memorable. Selçuk shared the history of St. John’s tomb and the Byzantine basilica while leading us to breathtaking panoramic views. At the Temple of Artemis, he helped us understand how this once-grand Wonder of the Ancient World shaped the history of the region. Throughout the day, Cemal provided safe, comfortable, and professional transportation, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and stress-free. Together, Selçuk and Cemal made this tour educational, enjoyable, and truly special. We highly recommend them to anyone wanting to experience the rich history, culture, and spiritual heritage of Ephesus. Thank you both for an exceptional day!
Very kind; we organized the tour in just an hour.
Had a great time when visiting Ismir. Our tour guide Hande did a great job giving details at all of our stops. Had a great lunch in an open garden restaurant called Obam. Also, our driver Gemal got us to and from safely.
Hande (tour guide) & Gemal (driver) were great! We enjoyed a beautiful day touring Turkey! We all bought pottery that will be a great conversation piece back home in the states. Tried Turkish coffee & apple tea for the 1st time, very cool to try local fare.
The Ephesus/house of Mary was an incredible experience. The downside, however, was that the car we were promised was smaller than the one we booked & I'm quite sure that the agent said the meal is "included" in the package but we ended paying for the meal that we had. But overall the experience was awesome and memorable and highly recommended.
It was great experience, the tour guy English was clear and everything was well arranged. l recommend them to any coming to Turkey for a tour.
Day tour of Ephesus from Çeşme made easy with Selcuk, he provided transportation, tickets and guiding. We don't have much time so only did Ephesus+ terrace houses ( must to see) and local lunch at carpet demonstration place and had chance to see the local carpets. I recommend Selcuk for arranging such a trip.
I had an AMAZING experience on this tour. My guide was knowledgeable and presented the information in a way that was interesting and entertaining. He was considerate and professional, and I would recommend highly. I was a solo traveler and the company and guide worked with me to ensure my safety and satisfaction. I will use them again. Guide: Selcuk. Cetin.
Very good private tour. The guide is kind and knowledgeable. Fluent in English. Vehicle and driver are clean and efficient.
