Départ de Rome pour un voyage spirituel au cœur des Pouilles. Vous serez pris en charge à votre hôtel ou appartement et voyagerez dans un minibus confortable et climatisé, accompagné d'un assistant touristique dédié. La première étape sera la grotte de Saint Michel Archange à Monte Sant'Angelo, l'un des plus anciens sanctuaires chrétiens et un site inscrit au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Lieu mystique lié aux apparitions de l'archange Michel, il est une destination de pèlerinage depuis plus de mille ans. Vous continuerez ensuite vers San Giovanni Rotondo pour visiter le sanctuaire de Padre Pio, l'un des plus importants du monde catholique. Vous verrez l'église Santa Maria delle Grazie, où Padre Pio a vécu et travaillé, avec des reliques et son corps incorruptible. Vous visiterez également la nouvelle église San Pio, conçue par Renzo Piano, qui abrite la crypte contenant sa dépouille. Vous aurez le temps de prier, de réfléchir et de déjeuner avant de retourner à Rome, emportant avec vous une expérience spirituelle et culturelle unique.

Le sanctuaire de San Giovanni Rotondo est un important lieu de culte situé dans la ville du même nom, dans la province de Foggia, dans les Pouilles, connu principalement pour être le lieu de vénération de Saint Pio de Pietrelcina, le frère capucin qui y a vécu et y est mort en 1968. Le sanctuaire se compose d'une série d'édifices religieux, dont l'église inférieure, où se trouve la tombe de St Pio, et l'église supérieure, une structure moderne conçue par l'architecte Renzo Piano, inaugurée en 2004. Le sanctuaire est visité par des pèlerins du monde entier, attirés par la spiritualité de Saint Pio et les grâces que beaucoup attribuent à son intercession. À côté de l'église se trouve le monastère des Capucins, où St Pio a vécu et mené sa vie de prière et de service.
La grotte de Saint Michel Archange, située à Monte Sant'Angelo, est l'un des lieux de culte les plus anciens et les plus vénérés du christianisme. Classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, la grotte est liée à une série d'apparitions de l'archange Michel remontant au Ve siècle, ce qui en a fait l'une des principales destinations de pèlerinage en Europe, notamment au Moyen Âge. À l'intérieur, la grotte conserve une atmosphère solennelle et spirituelle, enrichie par des éléments architecturaux accumulés au fil des siècles : autels, statues, inscriptions et témoignages d'une foi profonde. Ce sanctuaire a été visité par des papes, des saints et des millions de fidèles au fil des siècles, et il demeure aujourd'hui encore un symbole de dévotion et de mysticisme. Une visite de la grotte de San Michele offre non seulement une expérience religieuse intense, mais aussi un voyage à travers l'histoire et l'art, immergé dans un cadre naturel évocateur avec une vue spectaculaire sur le Gargano.

We had an absolutely incredible day tour to San Giovanni Rotondo and the Sanctuary of St. Michael, and it was all thanks to our fantastic team, Antonella and Nicola. Our driver, Nicola, arrived at our location in Rome right on time for a prompt 6:30 AM pickup. The long journey across Italy was incredibly smooth and comfortable; we felt completely safe and at ease in his hands the entire day. Our guide, Antonella, was very helpful and friendly. Her knowledge is rich and engaging for both sacred sites. She navigated the locations perfectly, ensuring we didn't miss a thing while keeping the pace comfortable.Punctual, professional, and genuinely warm, Antonella and Nicola made this long day trip completely stress-free and deeply memorable.
