Perles du Luberon : Gordes, Rousillon & Sénanque Abbey
Description
Oui, le Luberon est la région la plus connue de Provence. Oui, vous rencontrerez des touristes du monde entier. Il y a plus de 100 villages dans le Luberon mais le but de cette visite n'est pas de se précipiter et d'en voir le plus possible, mais de se détendre et de profiter des endroits où nous nous arrêtons. Nous commencerons par l'abbaye de Sénanque, où vous pourrez découvrir l'atmosphère mystique de ce monastère du XIIe siècle. Nous ferons ensuite un petit arrêt au belvédère surplombant Gordes. Un magnifique panorama sur ce village médiéval, un verre de rosé à la main et quelques apéritifs locaux, je suis sûr que ce sera un de "ces" moments inoubliables.. Après votre déjeuner, nous nous dirigerons vers Roussillon, un village coloré aux rues étroites bordées de boutiques où vous trouverez ce que les artisans locaux ont de mieux à offrir. Ce sera votre journée carte postale dans la Provence emblématique, mais aussi une journée détente que je vous invite à vivre de la manière la plus authentique possible.

Itinéraire
Visite et flânerie dans cet ancien et beau village provençal conique du XIIème siècle. Son château et ses maisons rocailleuses, ses petites ruelles et ses boutiques chics vous feront voyager dans le passé.
Un village ocre étonnant, temps de déjeuner, temps libre pour visiter le sentier des ocres et flâner dans le village avec ses boutiques et cafés. Vous en apprendrez davantage sur la production des ocres et admirerez la magnifique vue sur le Luberon.
Belle route à travers le Parc National du Luberon, montagnes, collines, vignes, champs de vignes, campagne provençale authentique.
Un lieu inspirant, un ancien monastère avec ses champs de lavande et sa belle architecture médiévale... comme une carte postale !:)

My daughter and I loved our day with Anthony touring the Luberon valley. Anthony was prompt, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The sights were fantastic. What a lovely experience - will definitely book through this group again!

We had a truly fantastic day out with Tom from Happy Day in Provence and would highly recommend him to any visitor to the region! Tom was very organised and a great communicator, both before and during the tour. He checked with us ahead of time about what we wanted to get out of the day and as a result we really loved every moment of our tour out and about in Provence, visiting the beautiful old hilltop towns of Gordes and Roussillon (with all the incredible ochre), and driving through stunning Provençal landscapes. The wine, olives and deli sausages along the way were an absolute treat, and we had plenty of opportunities during the day to explore the towns, have lunch, take photos from lookouts etc. Tom knows the region well and was brilliant at explaining things along the way, including the local wine making processes. He is such a nice guy and took a genuine interest in making sure our tour was the best! Don’t let winter put you off - we had an amazing day out in mid-January! We would HIGHLY recommend Tom and Happy Day in Provence!

Highly recommend this tour, well worth the investment. The guide Tom was extremely professional, courteous, accommodating, and knowledgeable. This was a highlight on our European trip, we will be recommending highly to friends and family. Goes without saying, but the different tours Tom has organized include beautiful landscapes and history, you will not regret any of his tours through southern France. - James

A beautiful Luberon village nestled on a clifftop, famous for its ferrous ochre. There are many craft shops and art galleries. There are trails that lead to the ferrous forests

Beautiful surroundings and views! The abbey was very tranquil and peaceful and allowed for a time of reflection whilst also teaching us about the history of the abbey which was fascinating. As a Scot it was very accessible with the tablets as they had the option for English. The reception also had the option to explain how everything worked in English. The abbey itself was gorgeous inside and out and well worth a visit.
