Paris: Billet d'entrée journalier au musée d'Orsay

Absolutely seamless way to see the museum D'orsay. Not sure why others said they had a problem! It almost kept me from doing it through Viator, which our family has always found to be reliable. This was no exception! The day before we received a barcode and entered the museum with no problem through the exact entrance we were told. We were able to see every exhibit without an issue. I highly recommend as the museum website was booked up and much more confusing. We were very grateful for this option to see this fantastic museum!

May be my favorite museum in the world. The largest collection of Impressionist paintings in one place that I know of. Van Gogh, Gauguin, Pissarro and many others are represented well here. The crowd control, the audio and guided tours are top notch and add to an already enriching experience. Time well spent. The location is easy to get to and near so many other “must see”places.

Decided to get last minute tickets because of the extreme heat but the tickets on the muesum site were sold out. Ordered these the night before and they worked flawlessly. Walked right through the line for those with tickets but no set time, then through security and then scanned in the muesum. Very easy to use.

Lined for tickets were not long at all so these didn’t save much time. We definitely paid more than the walk up ticket prices. Great museum though.

by using Viator, we were able to avoid having to select a particular time to visit the Orsay. That flexibility was crucial for us. The Orsay Museum is a treasure that should not be missed. Viator could improve the experience by sending tickets directly to the app after purchase. Finding the links in the email and clicking through to the tickets was a bit confusing and needlessly cumbersome.

The museum was very nice. Staff helpful and not overworked. Art was what one could expect from a sister of the Louvre.

Viator cancelled our family semi private Louvre tour—an hour before scheduled—because the tour guide had a medical emergency. Viator had no substitute This was the only open day in our itinerary. So my family did not see the Louvre on our Paris trip, though we had reserved this tour weeks earlier.

We had not realized we needed to buy tickets weeks before our trip. When we arrived in Paris all the museums we had hoped to see were sold out. We paid more for the tickets through Viator but they worked and we were able to get in.

I try to visit the Musee D’Orsay on every opportunity I visit Paris. It is a temple of beauty like no other in the world.

I attended the night in the museum. This evening ticket is available once a week on Thursday. The location is easy to find via metro, bus or by foot. They do not allow you to go in till the time slot and the line up outside and inside was very smooth to go through security. I have not been in the museum During day time so I cannot compare if it was busy or not. There is so much to see and during the evening you can see all the special exhibitions too. I ended up staying for dinner in their cafe on the 5th floor. It was lovely and I was able to take my time to explore each room. Saw people sketching and local people. It was an amazing experience to explore a museum after 6 pm During summer time because it has AC and didn’t feel rushed
