Faites une excursion d'une journée depuis Melbourne pour découvrir les merveilles naturelles du parc national des Grampians. Terrain de jeu géologique pour les randonneurs, les grimpeurs et la faune, les Grampians offrent une vue incomparable sur le parc et les plaines occidentales de Victoria et abrite les spectaculaires chutes du Mackenzie. (temporairement fermé une alternative sera proposée) Nous présentons la région connue sous le nom de Gariwerd par les peuples autochtones locaux. Une série spectaculaire de chaînes de montagnes accidentées à l'ouest de Melbourne. Abritant une abondance de kangourous, wallabies et autres animaux indigènes et riche en merveilles naturelles avec de superbes cascades et une vue panoramique sur les montagnes. Cette visite des Grampians comprend de courtes promenades à certains de nos endroits préférés et comprend une visite au centre d'information touristique des Grampians pour un aperçu de l'histoire des gens, du paysage et de la faune qui composent cette région.

Itinéraire
Nous commençons la journée tôt, en quittant Melbourne pile à 7h35. Nous recommandons aux clients de prendre leur petit-déjeuner avant la visite, étant donné que nous avons un long trajet à parcourir.
Nous donnons le coup d’envoi dans la ville décontractée de Beaufort – parfait pour un étirement matinal des jambes et un goûter. Ensuite, c’est tout droit dans l’action que nous touchons le parc national des Grampians !
Une fois arrivés dans le pittoresque parc national, nous nous dirigeons vers le centre d'accueil de Halls Gap, où vous pourrez explorer et voir de visu les histoires de création qui composent le folklore de ce paysage diversifié. Aventurez-vous autour du centre culturel pour voir des wallabies, des émeus et peut-être même des échidnés dans la brousse. Revenez avec une compréhension plus approfondie de l'importance de Gariwerd pour les peuples autochtones.
En une journée, nous vous emmenons de Melbourne pour découvrir les points forts de ce parc national à couper le souffle. Vous aurez l'impression de remonter dans le temps en vous émerveillant devant le paysage antique avec ses chaînes de montagnes escarpées et ses spectaculaires crêtes de grès. Avec un guide expérimenté vous guidant à travers ce paysage incroyable, vous repartirez de la visite avec une nouvelle compréhension de la campagne et de l'histoire de la région.
Probablement la cascade la plus célèbre de Victoria, nous descendons à la base et revenons pour nous émerveiller devant la quantité d'eau et sentir les embruns frais dans l'air. La randonnée fait environ 250 marches jusqu'à la base et retour et si vous préférez une promenade à plat plus facile au-dessus des chutes, c'est tout à fait bien ! Si jamais les chutes Mackenzie étaient fermées au public, cet arrêt remplacerait une randonnée paisible jusqu'aux chutes Silverband.
Nous profiterons ensuite d'une randonnée le long du sentier ombragé à travers les gommiers et les fascinantes formations rocheuses jusqu'aux balcons. Ici, vous verrez les célèbres « Mâchoires de la Mort » avec des vues et des paysages majestueux, présentés dans l'animation japonaise « Princesse Mononoke ».
Reeds Lookout offre une vue imprenable sur le lac Wartook et sur la vallée de Victoria et la chaîne Mount Difficult.
Un arrêt photo au merveilleux belvédère de Boroka dépeint parfaitement l'incroyable paysage. En fonction de la météo et de la visibilité, nous pouvons également nous diriger vers le lac Bellfield pour longer le barrage et nous sentir nain entre les deux chaînes de montagnes.
Avant de nous diriger vers la montagne, nous nous détendreons dans la ville pittoresque de Halls Gap, en plein cœur du parc national des Grampians, pour prendre le temps de déjeuner (à vos frais).
En quittant le parc national des Grampians, nous faisons le voyage de retour vers Melbourne en arrivant le soir vers 20h00.

We had a wonderful guide Lauren. She made us laugh and made sure we all had an amazing time. We managed to see Kangaroos, emus and wallabies. The weather wasn't the best but still enjoyed the tour.

We booked this tour based on the itinerary described on Viator, but unfortunately the experience did not match what was advertised. It was a rainy day, and while we understand that weather can affect certain activities, we would have preferred the tour to be cancelled rather than significantly altered without transparency. Several key highlights listed in the description did not happen: • The “morning tea with wildlife” turned out to be tea at a petrol station. • Mackenzie Falls was closed (apparently for the past two months), yet it is still included in the tour description. Viator were aware it would not happen. • We did not visit Boroka Lookout or The Balconies. We were told the views wouldn’t be good, but the rain was light and we could at least have done the walks we paid for or informed ahead. • Instead, we drove 50 minutes to do a 15-minute walk at Reed Lookout. Overall, the day felt poorly structured and not aligned with what was advertised. If key attractions are closed or removed from the itinerary, this should be clearly communicated in advance, and the tour description updated accordingly. Very disappointing experience. More transparency would be appreciated.

We went on this tour to see the beautiful Grampion National Park, and it did not disappoint. What we didn't realize was that the hike in Grand Canyon, though only moderate in difficulty, was too difficult for my 73 year old husband. The good part? Our guide was kind and attentive and made sure my husband made it in and out safely. We can't say enough good about Bill, our guide. The tour was great. We saw lots of birds and kangaroos. We will pay attention a little better in the future to make sure we're able to do the things included in the tour.

1 .Guide was very informative and helpful to explain sites and places of interest 2.Went to a unused/empty culture centre. (Waste of time could of been used for lunch.) 3.Lunch was not long enough as the town stopped for lunch was very busy to get a meal in 45 mins I got food poisoning due to uncooked food. 4. The waterfalls and scenic areas of the Grampians was fantastic.

Sean was the absolute best tour guide, he was informative, entertaining, and enthusiastic. The only reason I didn’t give this tour 5 stars was because you do not hike for most of the tour. If you enjoy a relaxing roadtrip from Melbourne to the Grampians National Park then this tour is perfect for you. But, if you were expecting more hikes/bushwalks through the national park like I was, you may be disappointed. Overall, I was happy that the bus is comfortable, the vibes were perfect, and the views were lovely.
