Choisissez un safari d'une demi-journée, le matin ou le soir, ou choisissez un safari d'une journée complète. Vous explorerez cette fascinante réserve de la biosphère classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO à bord d'une jeep safari privée, à la découverte de ses lagunes uniques d'eau salée et de ses nombreuses espèces sauvages. Gardez les yeux ouverts pendant que vous conduisez, car vous ne savez jamais quel genre d'animal vous pourriez rencontrer. Des troupeaux d'éléphants parcourent le parc, accompagnés de pangolins, de cerfs aboyants, de chats à taches rouillées, de chacals, de sangliers, de langurs, de crocodiles, de serpents et de tortues, entre autres. Les amateurs d'oiseaux seront comblés grâce à la collection de plus de 200 espèces différentes d'oiseaux du parc. Les flamants roses sont un des points forts, de même que les cormorans, la foulque, les cigognes, les canards et les spatules. Les visiteurs qui choisissent le safari en soirée auront également droit à un coucher de soleil spectaculaire accompagnant leur observation de la faune. À la fin de votre excursion, vous retournerez à la porte d'entrée principale du parc ou à votre hôtel.

A jeep tour through the Bundala is a good alternative from Tissamaharama if Yala is too crowded again. However, you won't see any leopards here. When I was here there was mostly magical scenery with incredible views over the coast, lots of crocodiles, jackals, a Fishing Cat, countless birds and an elephant from afar.

I recently visited Bundala National Park on Safari with Shehan safaris. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw lots of crocodiles, monkeys, water buffalo, peacocks, turtles and many other species of birds. The park is also home to a herd of elephants but we were unable to find them that day. I would highly recommend a safari with Sheehan safaris, they have excellent driver/guides! Contact them via email.
Half day afternoon tour in Bundala with Sakun - it was awesome! Such a calm and beautiful park, a great antidote to the craziness of Yala. We saw loads of birds, monkeys, crocodiles and a couple of elephants. Sakun was really friendly and helpful, great at spotting animals - he obviously has a genuine interest in the animals, despite having been there many times before he was taking pictures himself of the animals! Great information on the animals and naming them for us. We definitely recommend Sakun for your safari!
We did the afternoon safari in the park and had such a great time. Our guide Yasanka had such a good eye he literally spotted every animal - no matter how far it was away. He showed us through the whole park in a quite new and super comfortable jeep and the best thing was: it wasn’t as busy as in the other parks. He also took us to the beach side, we saw crocodiles, monkeys, elephants, birds, peacocks and had a lot of fun. He also offered to take pictures of me and my friend which was great. At the end he brought us to a place where we could have dinner and dropped us off at the hotel again. So friendly - totally recommend !
