Le parc national d'Udawalawe est un parc national situé à la frontière des provinces de Sabaragamuwa et d'Uva au Sri Lanka. Le parc a été créé pour fournir un sanctuaire aux animaux sauvages déplacés par la construction du réservoir d'Udawalawe sur la rivière Walawe, ainsi que pour protéger le bassin versant du réservoir.

Wonderful experience and our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable
We had an amazing experience . Our driver Udith made sure he got us close to the elephants as possible . Spotted wild animals and around 20 elephants including baby elephants from up close.

Great experience, Udith was a fantastic guide.
We used this touring service on three different occasions while visiting Sri Lanka. On our Safari through Udawalawe National Park we encountered so many elephants, and elephant families. Our Jeep safari driver provided all of the transportation from start to finish and was able to point out so many different park animals, as well as those outside the park. We used the same company for our taxi to and from Yala National Park, and for the Yala National Park Safari. They didn’t disappoint. There they helped us spot two leopards—an experience that is never guaranteed given the leopard’s reclusive nature. Our taxi driver, Dharu, was like a tour guide—explaining the customs and values of the Sri Lankan people, as well as helping us spot wildlife along the way. He was a safe driver and that meant a lot to us. Our taxi experience was so good that we requested Dharu from the same company to taxi us to other must-see locations on our third day. The entire day was rich in education as well as adventure, as Dharu led the way. I can’t recommend this company enough!
Had the absolute pleasure of having Gimhana show us around for a afternoon safari! He was super friendly, knowledgeable and just made our experience that much better. Got to see some very cool animals and bird life. He Took the time to explain and answer any questions we had. He picked us up from our accommodation and parks fee included. No stress. Amazing safari experience! We did a 4 hour tour with Udith- he was very knowledgable and friendly. We were picked up from our lunch spot, had a lovely afternoon (we booked the 2pm slot) and were dropped home. Would 100% recommend to a friend- was one of our favourite activities while travelling.

Our safari with Gimhana was an unforgettable experience. It was important to us that the well-being of the animals comes first, something our Guide Gimhana always took great care of. Whenever we got close to an animal, he switched off the engine and we deliberately kept silent, making sure not to disturb them. Communication with Gimhana was smooth and reliable right from the beginning, which made the whole trip stress-free. He also kept his distance from other jeeps or took alternative routes, which meant we were on our own most of the time. We were very grateful for that. Highly recommend Gimhana as both a guide and/ or driver🤩
This was a great experience. The communication prior to the experience was great. Denith arrived promptly and was a great guide. He drive safely and provided useful information about the wildlife spotted. He was attentive and made an effort to point out wildlife I may have missed. We saw lots of elephants, water buffalo, a crocodile, many birds. I recommend this tour. Thank you!
