My wife and I visited Fiji for our Honeymoon and wanted to spend one of the days hiking to see waterfalls and interior landscape of Viti Levu. Before the trip we were going back and forth with different locations with different companies. We decided to book with Fascination Fiji because of the offerings on the waterfall hike, you get to hike through Koroyanitu National Heritage Park to see waterfalls, learn about the land and culture, hear stories about Fijian history, and you get to visit a village. We were very happy we decided to book with Fascination Fiji as it was one of the best days of the trip. Freddie was an incredible guide who we greatly enjoyed spending the day with, he was very knowledgable about the land and Fijian culture and taught us a lot throughout the day. He was very professional from the time we were picked up to the time we were dropped off, we had an incredible time with him throughout the day. The landscape of the Heritage Park and waterfalls is very impressive and I would highly recommend making this hike a part of anyones trip to Fiji.
Excellent day out in the hills. Freddie was brilliant and gave us a personalized trip for the 2 of us so went high and saw all the waterfalls. His knowledge of flora and fauna was excellent. Food and transport was great too. A great full day.
Great small group experience tailored to your fitness ability on the day. Knowledgeable local guide with a safety conscious attitude. Get out of the resort and see some real Fiji!
My wife and I with the help of our guide Freddie conquered the waterfall hike. There were plenty of beautiful sites along the way, highlighted by the waterfall. The day was made all the more special with Freddie narrating an endless stream of knowledge on everything we saw or touched. Freddie is a very proud Fijin and it shows. Freddie is the man.
This hike was definitely the highlight of our trip and is an unmissable experience for anyone travelling to Fiji. This a moderate hike up to a stunning waterfall with amazing views of the mountains and forest. Our guide Freddy was really knowledgeable letting us know all about the local flora and fauna as well as the history of the local area over the last 2000 years. This is the best way to see "the real Fiji" and I would 100% recommend this to anyone with a spare day during your travels.
Honestly, this was one of the best hikes I have been on thanks to Freddie our hiking guide. He had so much knowledge of everything around us and taught us so much. He was so passionate and caring when it came to everything he said or did. I would definitely recommend doing this hike the waterfalls were absolutely stunning and so refreshing to swim in.
Freddie was very helpful and explained different type of plants. Hiking for the view and waterfall was well worth it! The hiking route is moderate but I really enjoyed the route to the waterfall and back! I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of hiking! Well worth the money for 6 hours from pick up to drop off!
We had a fun and adventure filled day with Freddie, hiking the mountains and seeing waterfalls. Freddie made sure we were well taken cared of. He picked us up and dropped off at the hotel, drove safely, and brought snacks and water for us during breaks. He was also very informative. Telling us about birds, plants and history around the place. He even surprised us with a detour to the waterfall while hiking which made the trip even more memorable! Highly recommended for those who want to see another beautiful side of Fiji, away from the sand and the beach.
Freddie was an amazing guide ... Giving us so much information about the vegetation and edible plants, showing us how they were used for medicine and hygiene. We did the medium walk to the waterfall, stopping frequently to learn about the plants around us. The waterfall was great, we waded into the water which was cool and refreshing after the hike there. The snacks provided were tasty. On the way back to our hotel, Freddie stopped to get us fresh coconuts to try. It was an awesome way to spend the morning/afternoon.
Great views led by a very knowledgeable guide describing the nature and history of Fiji. We did a moderate level hike but there are beginner to advanced hikes available which your guide can take you on. But most importantly, we felt safe.
