We had a lot of fun and learned a lot. Our guide was great!
Rubén was great as was the whole tour
Amazing trip, Johnny was an excellent guide. Made us feel so comfortable his English is great!!! If you are considering a day tour in Panama this is a great choice
This activitiy exceeded my expectations! It was full of energy, everyone was happy and engaging and we had the best guide Philippe. He was just amazing, no dull moments and shared a lot about Panama in general and the Embera tribe. The shuttle transport was comfortable, the canoe ride was scenic, the waterfall swim was refreshing and they provided us a hearty meal. I love the food, it was freshly cooked, very tasty and traditional. This is worth every penny!
Absolutely legitimate cultural experience! Orlando was an exceptional guide and made sure we had a great day from start to finish. Comico was incredibly talented - every time we turned around he was doing something amazing - he brought us up river safely on the canoe having to get out and drag us through low spots, guided us on the slippery, muddy path to the waterfall, played the flute, gave tattoos and even gave us a tour of his village. Overall, we had a really worthwhile experience and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a bit of adventure and a beautiful cultural event.
I took this tour with a friend in May, 100% recommended. Our guides, Clemente and Orlando, were the best. Always very friendly, willing to answer our questions, and they made sure the tour was pleasant for the whole group. From the beginning the logistics were positive, the food was very good, and meeting the Emberá community was a wonderful experience. One of the best tours I have taken in Panama. The experience is worth it for the guides and without a doubt for the Emberá community, who are happy to receive visitors interested in their culture. Extra points for waste management; when we left the community, we took our trash with us.
We had an excellent time during this excursion, in large part thanks to Clément. His professionalism, his punctuality, and his perfect knowledge of the terrain allowed us to enjoy the day with complete peace of mind. Very welcoming, he was able to answer all our questions with great kindness. A high-quality service that we recommend without hesitation.
Orlando was amazing! We had a great time with his tour with the Embera village. When we mentioned that we wouldn’t eat the food for dietary reasons, the accommodated us with new utensils to enjoy the fruit. Highly recommend the cultural experience.
Akeem was very knowledgeable, funny and kind. This excursion was one to remember and I highly recommend it. One thing I will say is make sure you wear secure shoes, water shoes specifically. The trail is very muddy. My shoe broke and I had to do the hike barefoot which wasn’t fun, lol. Overall this was an amazing experience that I will do again when I visit Panama City
It was great. Communication was great and our guides were fantastic and funny. A must do experience.
