Cette visite gastronomique à pied en petit groupe vous emmène à travers les saveurs les plus authentiques de la ville, des étals bourdonnants du Mercado del Olivar à un restaurant familial qui sert les habitants depuis plus de 68 ans. Au marché, savourez une coquille Saint-Jacques grillée, une huître fraîche et une généreuse pâte à tartiner charcutière : jambon ibérique nourri au gland, sobrassada, fromage Mahón, fuet et camaiot, le tout accompagné de vin rouge local. Continuez vers une boulangerie traditionnelle de quartier pour une tranche de coca de trampó, le pain plat salé bien-aimé de Majorque. Asseyez-vous pour un déjeuner méditerranéen complet avec du vin maison et un dessert maison dans une cave à vin devenue restaurant. Terminez sur une note sucrée avec un ensaimada chaud et fraîchement cuit d'une pâtisserie artisanale. Great walking tour around the old town, even though it was hot and sticky. Richie was very good and showed us several good places especially at the market. Unfortunately I don’t eat chicken, and the substitute pasta dish was very low standard. Everything else was great.

We have done many many Secret Food tours because we find the guides are local and excellent sources of knowledge and the food is plentiful and authentic. They also cater to dietary requirements. Alicia was fabulous. A true local with so much knowledge and lovely and fun. The only thing I would change is the ‘secret food’ which was a packet of cookies…. Substandard for secret food tours in my experience

Really enjoyed this tour with Richie, who has lived in Mallorca for 35 years and knows the island well! The food was delicious and plentiful. Just the right mix of savory, sweet and typical dishes. Highly recommend!

We have to say we really enjoyed our tour with Richie. We booked a group tour (2-12 people) but it was only the two of us by coincidence, we didn't mind at all. With Richie being a great guide and answering all the questions we had about food, the culture and telling us about a ton of stuff we didn't even know to ask he definitely surpassed our expectations and guided us through an assortment of various delicious dishes and ingredients. With a length of a little more than 3 hours it was great fun. We were definitely full afterwards so since the tour starts at 10:30 we wouldn't advise on having breakfast before, it's easily enough food. Overall we highly recommend the tour and advise on considering a private tour for smaller groups. It's well worth the money. : )
