Palma de Majorque : expérience privée de la cuisine locale et de la cathédrale

Description

We had a great time. The tour was very interesting and we got to try some wonderful food. The cathedral was amazing!
I genuinely cannot say enough good things about this tour. This was our second time in Mallorca so we wanted to see things we hadn’t seen on our last visit. First, our guide Daniela was one of our favorite tour guides we have ever had. Daniela is not just a nice tour guide, she’s a history enthusiast, personal photographer, and knows the best small food places throughout the whole city. We saw so many stunning places and Daniela made sure we had stunning photos of whole group which was much appreciated. As far as the tour itself, every place we visited all the food Daniela ordered for us was incredible. She also was extremely flexible based on the needs of our group which is always appreciated. If you ever visit Mallorca and want an amazing, memorable, personalized experience then this is the tour you want!
It was raining buckets. Buckets. But Daniela was amazing. She adjusted the tour so we could start inside the markets to get out of the rain and learn all about Palma. Wow, the market is like nothing I’ve seen in the states. The Seattle fish market has nothing on the fish market in Palma. So fresh. So varied. So many scary looking fish (lol). Daniela explained everything, and introduced us to so many different seafood style Pintxos, followed by Iberico Jamon at the meat market paired with wines and cheeses… we were so full and wanted to keep eating. If the weather had been more favorable, we would have done more historic walking and talking but we can’t blame the tour for God’s decision to bring rain. So Daniela helped us navigate the streets and we finished at the Cathedral whose stained glass windows are breathtaking. We wish we could have had sun in Palma, but we pivoted, had Pintxos and got to see how locals shop and hang out. Daniela is so kind, patient and knowledgeable. She also does hiking tours in Valdemossa which I wish we could have done with her! A private tour if you can swing it is the way to go for the most flexible experience with local highlights. Definitely book with her!
This tour was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide was fantastic and extremely informative and accommodating. I highly recommend to others!
Our guide Daniela was fantastic. She let us know weeks before that the intended sites were closed due to All Saints Day, so she arranged several delightful alternatives in the same area. Our family of four had a lovely time!
Our tour with Daniela was amazing she is so knowledgeable and accommodating highly recommend it was such an outstanding tour!! Ten star rating don’t hesitate to book her!! We will be back thank you Daniela!
Fun tour to start vacation. It was perfect to visit the market for tapas after arriving from an international flight. The Cathedral is beautiful and appreciated Daniela’s knowledge of the city. Daniela picked great places to eat at.
Our guide Daniella was amazing and took us to unique places we would not have known about. I would highly recommend.
Daniella provided us with an amazing "lifestyle" tour, taking us to local markets and restaurants for a taste of Mallorca. She answered our many questions and was very informative. Daniella gave us tips for what to do after her tour, even offering to have us call her if we had questions while on Mallorca. We would k=highly recommend
My husband and I had a perfect 10 day with Daniela on her food and walking tour through Palma and the cathedral. She was knowledgeable, fun, creative, and interesting. Our day started at the fish market where we sampled different local cuisine, and continued through the meat market, where we tried Different delicacies of meat and cheeses Next,we walked to a small church that had a where Nuns are known to bake sweet treats. Although you don’t ever see them, because all sales are constructed through a trap door where you put money in and the cookies would come out the other side of the trap door, which was very cool. After, we went to a local ice cream shop where we had more baked goods and homemade ice cream that was out of this world. Finally, we went to the cathedral where Daniela was very knowledgeable as she walked us around and gave us dates and names of the architects, and artists who created many of the pieces of works inside of the structure. As an arts history teacher, I was very impressed by Daniela‘s knowledge of all of Palma’s hidden treasures. Daniela had informed me that she too is a retired teacher, which was clearly evident after spending the day with her as she is very smart, well spoken, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone looking for a great day of food, fun and history!
