Pacheco Tours - Excursion en apnée sur l'île de Caño au départ de Drake Bay

Nous ferons de la plongée en apnée dans 2 zones différentes de l'île de Cano et après cela, nous vous emmènerons à la plage de San Josecito Nous organiserons tout pour le client, le transport, le guide, les frais de parc, l'équipement et le déjeuner, Nous proposons également un menu varié avec des options végétariennes et végétaliennes.

Itinéraire
La visite commence vers 7h30 depuis l'hôtel Rancho Corcovado. Nous essaierons l'équipement et après cela, nous prendrons un bateau pour l'île qui durera environ 45 minutes jusqu'à l'île de Cano. Une fois arrivés sur l'île, votre guide vous donnera toutes les instructions dont vous avez besoin pour faire le premier point de plongée en apnée qui dure environ 45 minutes à 1 heure. Dans cette zone, vous pourrez apprécier les formations rocheuses et les coraux, entourés de poissons multicolores. Ensuite, nous ferons une pause d'environ 30 minutes puis nous irons faire un deuxième point de snorkeling autour de l'île. Après le deuxième tuba, nous vous emmènerons à Playa San Josecito afin que vous puissiez voir l'une des plages les plus étonnantes de la baie de Drake. Après cela, nous retournerons à Drake Bay vers 13h00 pour déjeuner dans l'un des restaurants locaux.
Nous nous arrêterons ici un peu pour que nos invités voient la magnifique plage!

This was one of our favorite places to snorkel! The water was calm and warm, there were animals everywhere we looked, and the team made sure everyone felt comfortable the whole time. The snorkel gear was good and the masks didn't leak. There were open-top snorkels but also dry-tops, which is what we got. The break between the snorkeling sessions was on land, which I appreciated, not just because it was a beautiful island. The snacks were great, conversations were great, the tide pooling among the rocks was also great. At some point, while we were on the boat, we spotted dolphins and the captain started making waves by driving in circles as an invitation for the dolphins to "come and play." And come and play they did! They seemed to really love it, and so did we.
What an unexpected, superb experience - we were supposed to be on a different tour but the team had mixed up the booking dates, so we had to do the other tour a day later (luckily we were able to!) and to apologise for their error we were offered this complimentary snorkelling tour. In a weird way we are now very grateful the mix-up happened or we wouldn’t have done this tour! You start with a fun boat trip from Drake Bay to Caño island, then snorkelling at 2 different spots around the island with the guide, which felt safe, at a good pace (not rushed at all!) and we were lucky to see about 7 (I lost count!!) sea turtles of different species, an octopus, a whitetip reef shark, and lots of stunning fish. All followed by a ride to San Josecito beach for a tasty Casado lunch, and then back to Drake Bay - seeing dolphins playing in the boat’s wake on the way back. Absolutely wonderful time, so grateful!
The tour is fine and at all times gives a sense of security but the guide was a little distant.
Incredible experience. Our guide Alvaro was so knowledgeable and kind. We saw so much and he even helped my partner get over their fear of the ocean. Fish, sharks, ray. Wonderful tour
Excellent tour to Cano Island. Good boat ride, excellent guide and a legit operator. While we didn’t see use them for other tours they also had housing and tours to Corcovado which looked well attended, clean and also excellent. Thank you to the Pacheco family for an excellent time in the Osa Peninsula
Great experience and super nice staff. The snorkeling was the best we have had in Costa Rica. Able to get close to turtles and several beautiful fish.
Very nice experience, there is not much visibility but we still managed to see dolphins, turtle and a white fin shark to reef. Our guide Alvaro was fabulous. The only flaw in the lunch... A very small pizza for two people 😭
Professionally organized, respectful of nature, many water turtles, stingrays and fish seen and a delicious lunch. Top!
Really enjoyed the wildlife and nature. The guide was very kind and nice. Absolutely recommended. The snorkeling involves the whole group and the guide all entering the water at the same time and swimming away from the boat. Be extra careful as various diving groups can intermingle so it's very easy to accidentally end up in the wrong group. If this happens stay calm and let the guides sort it out. We ended up waiting on a neighboring boat for a couple of minutes as we lost our group and accidentally joined a different one. The guides communicate over radio so they were super efficient to get us back to our original boat in no time.
Snorkeling is beautiful! Only there is no drinking provided... that's a minus the snack is 1 cookie bit unfortunate. And lunch is 1 pizza for 2 people at a restaurant back at drake not even on the beach bit disappointing.
