Complexe archéologique de Pachacamac et Barranco
Description
Commencez la visite à Barranco, la banlieue la plus bohème de Lima. Nous verrons le parc central de Barranco, sa bibliothèque municipale, le traditionnel pont des Soupirs, les maisons coloniales et son célèbre boulevard. Ensuite, nous descendrons la route de la côte sud du Pacifique jusqu'à Pachacamac, le centre cérémoniel le plus important de la côte péruvienne à l'époque pré-inca et inca. Au cours des siècles, Pachacamac a été occupée par de nombreuses civilisations andines différentes telles que celle de Lima, celle des Wari, celle de l'Ichma et enfin par l'Empire Inca. Cependant, l'Oracle Pachacamac est toujours resté un centre religieux. Nous verrons plusieurs temples pyramidaux et enceintes de différentes périodes: les Adobitos et le Vieux Temple (I CAD), le Temple peint (VIII CAD), une pyramide avec une rampe (XIII CAD) et le Temple du Soleil (XV CAD) . Outre les ruines, nous visiterons également un musée sur place présentant des poteries, des textiles, des coquillages et des ornements en pierre, ainsi que l'idole de Pachacamac en bois trouvée lors des fouilles (1938)

Pachacamac, le centre cérémoniel le plus important de la côte péruvienne à l'époque pré-inca et inca. C'était un important site religieux pré-inca.
Le musée est organisé de manière thématique et présente l'ensemble de la séquence culturelle du sanctuaire de Pachacamac, depuis environ 200 après JC jusqu'à la création des Incas en 1470.

Diverse experience with a walking tour of Barranco area of Lima which gave us an insight into the diversity and artistic cultural aspects of this beautiful area. The trip out to Pachacamac was also fascinating and quite awe inspiring to understand how the site has been excavated and to gain knowledge of how these early races lived, created the temple and other areas of the and how they worshipped their gods. Our guide and driver were both knowledgeable and respectful of the location.

This is such a massive site that the vehicle takes everyone to different areas. Seeing the construction from different periods and people's id very informative.

The best tour we've had in Lima, Excellent guide with brilliant English and very informatitive in local knowledge and history, well rounded tour seeing the highlights of the area.
