Cette visite privée explore le meilleur de l'ouest de l'Islande. La péninsule de Snæfellsnes possède quelques-uns des meilleurs sites d'Islande, avec la beauté et la mystique inspirant des romans mondialement célèbres, enchantant les visiteurs chaque jour. Cette visite privée était auparavant organisée en petit groupe, mais n'est plus disponible que pour des soirées privées de 12 personnes maximum. Itinéraire
Sellvallafoss, qui surplombe le lac Sellvallavatn, est l'un des endroits les plus cachés du chemin, malgré sa proximité avec la route de montagne. Elle est masquée par les contours du terrain, sur un itinéraire banalisé. La courte promenade vaut la peine de voir cette cascade de forme unique. C'est un surnom, la cascade du mouton est ainsi nommée en raison des moutons en liberté qui se cachent souvent derrière les chutes un jour d'été.

Les ramassages commencent à 9h. Veuillez être à votre point de ramassage désigné à cette heure-ci seulement quelques minutes à l'avance. Nous nous ramassons aux points de ramassage des bus touristiques désignés dans le centre-ville de Reykjavik, et dans certains hôtels où il est permis de conduire et de se ramasser.

Hidden Iceland coordinated our Iceland trip from start to finish and they were responsive, thoughtful and had great suggestions. Each of the three guides Matej, Levi and Macin were great at sharing information and history and stories while guiding us through the best sites in Iceland. Our groups were small, we traveled in comfortable vehicles, and had a wonderful time. Our driver to the airport even suggested a quick stop at a Viking Festival along the way as we had plenty of time. An extra bonus which we loved,

This peninsula has breathtaking views and the trip provides a wide range of scenery including waterfalls, glacier views, black sand beaches and spectacular rock formations. This was our 2nd tour with Hidden Iceland and it was a beautiful day. Our guide Einar went above and beyond to make sure that everybody in the group of 9 had an enjoyable day. There are many sights on this trip that you will find yourself remembering long after your vacation is over. There are far fewer crowds at many of the sights on this tour than some of the other areas that you can reach within a day from Reykjavik, making it that much easier to feel like you are communing with nature. This is an excellent tour to include in your itinerary!

The Peninsula trip was amazing. Our guides Fannar and Ragnar could not have been more helpful. Exquisite scenery, beautiful waterfalls, amazing geyser, as well as super recommendations for the rest of our time in Iceland. Exceptional. Highly recommended.

Farnash (sp?) of Hidden Iceland was a fantastic guide! We traveled a long distance through snow, whiteouts, rain, sleet, and extremely windy conditions in a very comfortable and safe Mercedes minibus. It was a great tour. We learned so much about Iceland and the stories of the Hidden People and the myths and culture of Iceland. Our lunch was delicious. And our stops and the scenery along the way were amazing! It's funny. In other places, we may have been disappointed by the weather but somehow our driver/guide made the entire experience interesting and exciting and taught us the Icelandic expression - everything will work out in the end - which we came to embrace and appreciate.
