Votre visite à pied comprend l'entrée à la superbe église universitaire du 13ème siècle de Sainte-Marie-la-Vierge. Une fois que vous aurez exploré Oxford, il sera temps de retourner à Londres - où vous retournerez pour environ 19h.

My adult son and I took this day trip during our week in London. It was well organized. Golden tours sent me texts and updates prior to the trip, and they have their own bus stop (address was in Google Maps) near Victoria station, which helped us find the start point. We rode in a full size air conditioned tour bus with usb ports for phone charging. Our guide Oliver was knowledgeable and friendly. The tour description is very accurate. This drives through the Cotswolds but only stops at Oxford, Stratford and Warwick Castle. I recommend that you buy the entry to Warwick castle option (at least). That is worth the admission. The castle is well maintained and there is a lot to see. It was our favorite stop. I would do this again. We also took the tour of Shakespeare’s birthplace. It was interesting to see how they lived and get a glimpse of his father’s glove making shop. If you skip that tour there is plenty to see in the town (depending upon your preferences).

This was a great way to see 3 big items on our list! Warwick Castle was the favorite stop for us, especially my daughter. We had already been to Buckingham and Windsor, but this castle was our favorite. Her exact words were,'"finally! A castle that looks like a REAL castle!" Our guide was full of so much interesting information and she was hilarious!

Marius was a great driver. Oliver was knowledgeable and entertaining. We had a lovely combination of guided tours (we paid for site admissions) and self-guided exploration. All in all a lovely day trip from London.

Lot's to see so you have to move quickly to get the most of the experience. The drive through the Cotwalds was nice but you don't see much or learn much about the area. The drop off point was a sticky issue for us. We were told we would be brought back to Vuctoria station unless there was traffic. The guide was very upfront that we would be dropped off near a different station. I think it woud be better to be upfront and plan for only one station drop off so that plans can be made accordingly. It was tricky to plan for dinner and transportation afterwards not knowing where we would be dropped off in advance. Overall, I would recommend the tour is you are interested in seeing all of the destintation to get a taste of what they have to offer.
