We saw bears and eagles! Lexie was a local and had great things to share and hidden gems to take us to. Thank you for sharing the highlights of Ketchikan! Don’t miss out on this excursion if you are looking for an adventure to take beyond the ships.

John was very knowledgeable and passionate about all the information he shared with us about Ketchikan.
We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your time. Thank you again for booking with locals 🩵☔️
My husband, his mom and I came to see Alaska so we didn’t cruise. We flew into Ketchikan via Alaska and are so glad we did. This was our first tour on a 3 day trip and we saw a rocky beach with tide pools, a mink scampering across the road with a fish, bear scat, a gorgeous waterfall, beautiful blue and black birds, and deer. Unfortunately no bears on our trip, but that’s wildlife for you. When the very nice guide, Lexi, dropped us off for lunch we saw a bald eagle in the parking lot on a light post! Later from our room at The Inn at Creek Street, we saw a harbor seal swimming up the creek.
Oh, it was so great to meet you and your family Katie. I thank you again for booking with us and I hope that you guys had a great time in Juneau as well🩵☔️
It was terrible. The guide knew very little about the area. She kept taking us back to the same place
Patricia, I’m not to sure what your meaning by “she kept taking you back to the same place?” Our drivers WILL go to herring cove twice if not able to see a bear the first time. Most people love it. Please don’t ruin it for everyone just because you’re disappointed you didn’t see what you wanted. Our guides are very knowledgeable so I highly doubt that she knew very little.
Our guide Lexi was full of local knowledge and fun facts about Ketchikan and went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great tour! We saw sea life at Rotary Beach, the Salmon Ladder and our personal highlight seeing bears at Herring Cove. We would definitely recommend booking this tour when you visit Ketchikan.
Awe thank you so much Mark for you kind works! And thank you so much for booking with us🤍☔️
We booked this last minute because we really really wanted to see some Alaskan bears. Johnny was awesome and did everything he could and we got what we came for, even if they were in someone's front yard which just added to the fun! Johnny was great! We loved his stories about the island, people and bears. It was so fun to be guided by a local.
I heard about this tour! Sounds like amazing fun stuff. Thanks again for booking with us! 🤍☔️
Lexi was a great guide, funny and very informative. She timed it perfectly so we saw a mama black bear and her two cubs!
Thanks for booking with us🤍☔️
We used Viator to book our tour in Ketchikan. The local tour company over the top is run by Lexy and Johnny. Johnny was our driver and guide. Johnny , born and brought up in Ketchikan, knew the area very well.He exactly knew where to look for bears. We were fortunate to find 2 bears in the area. That was the highlight!
Yay!!! I’m so happy you were able to meet the crew! Sounds like a great day! Thanks so much for booking with us🤍☔️
