He never took unnecessary risks, particularly on challenging roads or when overtaking in limited visibility. His professionalism and calm approach gave us complete confidence throughout the journey. He also has an impressive local network and speaks multiple languages, which allowed him to communicate seamlessly with local communities and tribal groups we encountered along the way. My husband and I went on safari in early Feb and had a fantastic time with our guide Dan! So cheerful and funny, Dan was easy to get along with and felt like family straight away. He was organized and answered all of our questions - from the awe inspiring landscape to the culture and daily life of Ugandans. He really made the experience so authentic. We were lucky to have him on our game drives as he was an expert as spotting animals and taught us all about the wide variety of birds we encountered.
