Vous admirerez la plaque à l'extérieur de l'Hôtel indiquant : « Cette maison abrite la mémoire de Giuseppe Verdi qui fut un hôte prestigieux et qui y mourut le 27 janvier 1901 ».

I have taken several private tours recently and I can tell this was of too quality. Stefano is a wonderful guide to La Scala, and also the set up in the theatre is exemplary, the museum with its various displays and changing themes, and a chance to look int the big hall to see rehearsals is great, quite unlike in most opera houses.
