Un jour en Transylvanie - Départ de Timisoara

Description

I highly recommend Timisoara City Tours to anyone looking to explore the area, we went on the One Day in Transylvania tour and absolutely loved it! It’s a long day but undoubtedly worth it for an intimate tour experience (just us and two others) where they picked us up from our accommodations and were happy to work with our specific needs. We were staying in the no-car-zone in the city centre but our guide Andrei found us a convenient pickup location right near by. Andrei was fantastic, on top of being an expert guide he was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and communicative from the time of our booking through to the end of the tour. He brought us to some amazing places that we would have never known about otherwise and gave us great intel at each stop. This was one of the best tour experiences we’ve had anywhere that we’ve travelled. I’m certain you won’t regret booking any of their tours!
This tour was the highlight of my trip to Romania. I had such a great time seeing and learning about Romania’s history. My tour guide was Sergiu, it was a personal tour and I had a blast getting to know him. He is so smart and knowledgeable about Romania. And very passionate about tourism as an economic driver for the country. Highly highly recommend!!!!!
Dear Stephanie, I am happy you enjoyed our trips together and I hope you'll be back one day so we can explore more of Romania!
Booked a day trip with Dan to Transylvania on November 19, 2022. This was definitely worth it and we experienced a breathtaking drive through Transylvania. For me, the Carvin Castle had been the most memorable moment to be able to admire this beautiful castle. Dan is certainly passionate about his work and makes this long day a sure success. If you ever visit Romania, this trip is definitely worth it.
On Wednesday we had a tour of Timisoara with this guide. Because the guide was so good, we asked if he would also give us a tour outside Timisoara kaon. He suggested a day trip to Transylvania and this trip was also super organized. We saw beautiful places, where not only the beauty of the surroundings is shown, but also everything you see is put in context. When I'm around, I know who I'm pulling on his jacket for a trip: Timisoara City Tours!!!! PS: if necessary, wifi can also be provided when you are in the car.
What a fantastic day. We had a day left after a week of training in Timisoara, before we had our flight. Decided to do a day trip Transylvania, after we had already done a city tour with our guide Dan, earlier this week. Dan is really one of the best guides, thinks along, knows a lot and also tells a lot. And you can tell he's a really passionate guide. The day itself is exactly in accordance with the daily schedule, as described. The highlight was definitely the castle. Recommended! We were 3 people and therefore a more personal tour, which we liked very well. Definitely recommended!
If it was possible we would have given more stars!! Sergiu who accompanied us in this experience is a really nice person and easygoing but also extremely professional, the places visited are really special and we can not wait to return to do other tours even more days! Definitely recommended!!
Ci vediamo a Lecco! Un abbraccio, Sergiu
We had a really fantastic time on the One Day in Transylvania tour. Sergiu is a wonderful guide and a great driver. My wife was born in Timisoara but left very young in 1980 and we both came away from this tour with a much better understanding of Romanian history. All the sites were fascinating and the church he showed us (I won't ruin the surpirse) was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. A big plus is that Seriu is also a great conversationalist so not only did we learn the history from the tour but we came away with a better understanding of what life is like in contemporary Romania. Oh, the restaruant was great too, I suggest ordering the Transylvanian stew. I would highly recommend this tour if you find yourself in Timisoara!
Thank you Jesse for your kind words! I am happy you got to explore a bit of Romania and I hope to see you again so we can see more interesting sights in Romania. Send my regards to Krizstina! Sergiu
I spent the day in Transylvania with Dan and can only recommend it. Although the tour is offered in English, Dann also speaks German, Hungarian and French very well. He studied history, so the trip was really informative. He picked me up on site, the music in the car was great. He also takes a lot of consideration if you can't tolerate the heat so well, he adapts to the level of the participants. I learned a lot about the history of the places visited and also about the history of the country, the people, the food and the culture. I can only warmly recommend the trip
This was a wonderful day trip following the advertised itinerary. Sergiu reached out to me prior to the outing to make sure everything was coordinated. While Corvin Castle was the highlight of the trip (and certainly worth the drive), the other stops were fantastic as well. Sergiu was fun to travel with and knowledgeable about the sites. I would highly recommend this tour if you find yourself in Timisoara.
Dear Paul, Thank you for your positive feedback! I am happy you enjoyed our trip and I hope you'll be back one day so we can explore more of Romania together! Greeting from sunny Timisoara, Sergiu
