Le parc national Olympique est bien connu pour abriter plusieurs écosystèmes différents à explorer : forêt subalpine, prairies de fleurs sauvages, forêt pluviale tempérée et côte accidentée du Pacifique. Cette visite de douze heures vous permet de goûter à chacun de ces systèmes avec l'avantage supplémentaire d'avoir un guide expérimenté pour répondre à toutes vos questions. Venez explorer les bassins de marée le long des plages côtières, parcourez les forêts anciennes, faites une randonnée au sommet des crêtes montagneuses offrant des vues à couper le souffle et admirez les rivières et les lacs nés des glaciers. La visite commence par une promenade en ferry tranquille sur le Puget Sound jusqu'à la péninsule olympique. L'itinéraire exact sera déterminé par le guide touristique, mais notre premier arrêt nous trouvera généralement à Hurricane Ridge, où vous ferez une randonnée jusqu'à une vue incroyable sur la vallée en contrebas et les montagnes enneigées au loin. Nous nous dirigerons ensuite vers le lac Crescent et la vallée saisonnière de Sol Duc, ainsi qu'une plage de sable le long du détroit de Juan de Fuca. Veuillez prévoir de marcher six miles.

Si les horaires des marées ou des horaires ne permettent pas de s'arrêter à l'aire de loisirs de Salt Creek, un arrêt à Dungeness Spit le remplacera. Dungeness Spit est également une grande plage et un sanctuaire de la faune. Marchez et profitez.
Un magnifique lac sculpté par un glacier qui est si clair que vous vous enfoncez profondément dans le lac. Un lodge de parc national est situé ici et un endroit agréable pour se détendre si ce n'est pas faire une randonnée aux chutes de Marymere et aux arbres anciens. Des kayaks et autres bateaux sont disponibles à la location si vous choisissez de ne pas faire de randonnée.

Arrêt de parc en option. L'automne est probablement le moment de s'arrêter. Une très jolie cascade, forêt ancienne avec des zones présentant une forêt pluviale tempérée. Seasonal Salmon court aussi, en automne. randonnée ou si vous apportez votre maillot de bain, vous pouvez vous imprégner de sources chaudes.

Nous retournons à Seattle en ferry et après une longue journée, nous voyons souvent le coucher de soleil sur les eaux. Voir Seattle se profiler de plus en plus grand est une excellente façon de terminer la journée. Ils servent également de la bière et de la chaudrée de palourdes d'Ivars à bord.

The Olympic National Park probably deserves a few days to get explored but if you’re considering doing it in one day this is definitely a great opportunity. Our tour guy Kevin was awesome, a natural entertainer full of stories and fun facts made the trip an enjoyable and interesting. The park itself it’s a beautiful and profound experience and you’ll find yourself immersed into nature and pristine views. You’ll get to enjoy a good hiking so dress accordingly and wear comfortable shoes with good traction. I just wish there was a stop at any of the native tribes centers, I’m sure there’s a few I also thought Ruby Beach was in the itinerary but maybe I was mistaken. Then it should be included! This was definitely a great experience for me and I’m looking forward to go back soon!
A full day but worth it. Expertly guided by Kevin who calmly and patiently managed the whole day single handedly.
A nice mix of activity including beach walk, fabulous woodland trail to waterfalls and glorious mountain vistas!! Our guide, Kevin was friendly and knowledgeable. He entertained us, guided us and was an excellent driver. Highly recommended.

13 hours is allot of driving Blue waters in rivers and lakes Just as beautiful as ocho rios in Jamaica

We took this tour with Joel last Friday and we absolutely loved it. Joel was a fantastic tour guide, very informative, funny, and accommodating! And the views, fabulous! It is crazy to go from walking around a warm beach/tide pool area to snowing and cold at the top of the Cascades in the same day. It was a lot to fit into one day, but Joel did it wonderfully. The bus was roomy and comfortable and they pick up/drop off at multiple locations in downtown Seattle. Highly recommend this tour, but done well rested!

Great way to see Olympic Park in a day! No worries about driving the distance from Seattle!! Our tour guide Kevin was amazing - very nice, knowledgeable & really fun! We had plenty of time at each stop to enjoy the beauty!! Comfortable ride & stop for lunch (great sandwiches). Wonderful excursion!!
