Visitez également un temple hindou vieux de 400 ans connu sous le nom de temple "Mangeshi", qui rappelle l'ancien héritage hindou de Goa avant la domination coloniale portugaise. Le matin, notre Guide viendra vous chercher à votre hôtel et se dirigera vers Old Goa. Construite en 1619 après JC, l'édifice de la cathédrale de Se est la plus grande église d'Asie. Avec sa superbe façade ibérique, ses plafonds vertigineux, son fabuleux travail de mosaïque, son bois complexe et ses sculptures dorées, la cathédrale Se, aussi parfois appelée cathédrale Sainte-Catherine, est un incontournable pour tout visiteur de Goa. Ce site ecclésiastique vieux de 400 ans a acquis une riche signification culturelle et religieuse, la basilique de Bom Jesus a été déclarée patrimoine mondial par l'UNESCO. Traduisant littéralement par «Saint Jésus», c'est la seule église du Vieux Goa qui n'est pas placardée à l'extérieur. La façade de l'église a un toit triangulaire qui est délicatement sculpté avec les initiales 'IHS', qui est une abréviation de l'emblème jésuite signifiant 'Jésus, Sauveur des Hommes'. Il est temps de faire claquer les lèvres Déjeuner, arrivée à la plantation d'épices tropicales : écoutez les oiseaux ravissants, paressez au bord du ruisseau ou promenez-vous simplement dans les plantations de coléoptères. La plantation d'épices tropicales a beaucoup à offrir, la tranquillité d'esprit étant la plus grande de toutes. Profitez d'un menu varié comme le curry de crevettes, le plat de poulet de Goan, le riz blanc et brun, le pain de Goan, les frites de poisson et quelques plats de légumes également.
Dédié au Seigneur Shiva, ce temple vieux de 400 ans fascine les fidèles et les visiteurs avec sa beauté simpliste depuis 400 ans. Le temple est orné d'un plan d'eau rafraîchissant. Selon certains, c'est l'une des parties les plus anciennes du temple. Il y a aussi une tour de lampe à sept étages dans le complexe du temple. Il y a aussi quelques sanctuaires dédiés aux divinités familiales qui sont situés dans le complexe du temple.

Arranging a larger group tour was very easy when Viator option did not allow for our total group (9) nor at a time we could start (they accommodated us to start later). The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable (42 years of giving tours in Goa!) and also amusing. Opportunity for souvenirs near the Hindu temple. Fascinating assortment of Goan cultural history (Hindu, spices, and Portuguese/Catholic) in a very short time (all we had. Surely you could spend much more time). Would definitely recommend. Only drawback was one of our two drivers was…not the best. Most of us felt carsick (and are not first time visitors to India, we are used to the roads & drivers).

Had a very enjoyable tour to visit some old Goan churches, a temple and then lastly a spice tour with lunch. Our guide and driver were both lovely and very accommodating. It was very interesting to see some of the beautiful historical buildings and learn all about them.

I did this tour today with 4 friends and we thoroughly enjoyed it .Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative about the churches and the local history of Goa .He enthusiastically told us about the history of the Portuguese being here and the impact it had on the local culture.Our guide even went out of his way to stop off at a phone shop for me on our way back to the hotel so that I could purchase a new phone charger! Very helpful of him .Would recommend this tour !!

Very knowledgeable tour guide who explained everything and more around the tour itself as you’d expect but also on the drive down and back and any questions we had along the way, spice plantation was really good, food probably not as good as I was hoping (stated king prawn curry on viatour) however matter. Take some rupees with you for the temples and spice plantation as you will probably want something from the local organis shop

The guide and driver were excellent catering the discussion around my interests in local culture and customs. While visiting Bom Jesus, I learned that it’s next to the archaeology museum. I asked to tour the museum, but unfortunately it was closed Fridays. I was however able to explore their outdoor collection of architectural remnants which was a treat as an anthropology student. The highlights for me were the temple and the spice plantation. They have a store at the plantation where I was able buy lots of spices and natural soaps.

Our driver and an amazing guide picked us up right on time, we visited several interesting spots and below 02 were the most memorable: The Basilica of Bom Jesus was truly a memorable experience. This historic church carries a deep sense of spirituality and architectural beauty. If you’re in Goa, this iconic site is definitely a must visit. A symbol of Goa’s colonial history and religious heritage, and offers a calm break from the beaches and parties. The scenic Spice plantation: A Wonderful 100-acre private property, we tour a small part of it with a guide that educated us about the therapeutic, cooking properties of the various herbal plants grown there. The visits were followed by a sumptuous lunch buffet and is worth it. Highly recommended for nature lovers, spice enthusiast, or someone looking for a break away from the beaches in Goa.
