Porte de Shureimon – Porte emblématique à l’entrée du château de Shurijo Votre voyage commence par un accueil chaleureux de votre sympathique guide local devant un studio de teinture Bingata, à quelques pas de la gare de Shuri Monorail. Shurikinjo Stone-Paved Path – Rue pavée historique à travers la vieille ville De là, vous flânerez dans de charmantes rues remplies d'histoire et de caractère, pour vous diriger vers la capitale royale autrefois florissante du royaume Ryukyu. Sara is incredibly knowlegeable of the Shuri castle and the tour with her was a full immersion in Okinawa history, culture and art. It went much beyond a classic guided tour. It was an immersive experience.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience on this private tour of Shuri Castle. From the moment we met our guide Sara, it felt less like a guided tour and more like spending the day with a knowledgeable friend. Her English is excellent, making communication effortless, and her deep knowledge of Shuri Castle as well as the history of Okinawa , and the area in general made the tour so much more interesting. Not only did we get to learn more about the history and culture surrounding Shuri Castle, Sara was also able to give us recommendations, including restaurants, shopping, and other interesting places to visit. We highly recommend this tour, and specifically our guide Sara!

This was an excellent tour with personalized stops depending on condition and what you‘re interested in. Ended up being just me and the tour guide so it was really nice! Food was also great :)

Personalized tour of Shuri Castle. Maria, our tour guide was lovely she was very patient and thorough. She was able to speak to Japanese and English both fluently. Enjoyed a delicious lunch at a traditional Okinawan restaurant at the end of the tour. I would recommend this tour!

This is a walking tour, up hill, down hill and many steps. But so worth it. Our guide Maria had beautiful and interesting things to show us every step of the way. She spoke English very well. Our experience with her, was like visiting a friend we just met. If we asked, she answered, looked it up, or found a way to get an answer. The list of places we stopped at was all encompassing. The shrines, the gates, the mosulisum, the architecture, and local nature spots. The traditional lunch was delicious and a rememberal experience. All and all a great tour with a wonderful guide!
Our guide Maria was an excellent reservoir of information explaining the history of Shuri Castle and provided ample time in answering questions that were asked. Our group consisted of 2, which made it a private tour and allowed more interaction with Maria. The lunch included with the tour was very filling and tasty. We would highly recommend Maria to lead this tour. You will be in good hands with her as your guide.
