Everything was ok until we got to the big cats. The lions had no water to cool in and play in. And as for the tiger - it was skin and bone the poor thing looked starved snd our kids left feeling extremely upset.

The zoo, in comparison to others, is very good; the bird show is very well done, and it is clear that the birds are not being forced but are acting on instinct since each one goes where it wants, which adds a very important element of naturalness. The only thing that upset me was that the enclosure for the panther and jaguar was so small, and all the water areas, especially in the aviary and rhino area, smelled so strongly of chlorine, which is very harmful to small birds and to the normal behavior of animals that cannot put their heads in the water. Knowing what zoos are like and addressing these two fundamental aspects, it is quite good; the habitats were very well themed. Lastly, the staff are very nice and very professional, especially those in the bird show, who clearly enjoy what they do.

I would like people of disability to listen up ! If your going on holiday , it is really useful to take your blue disability card with you. My husband is wheelchair bound and buying the tickets ( discount ) she did almost refuse us , even though my husband was obviously disabled and in his wheelchair asked for blue card , which we didn't take , but she did relent after asking her manager as he's obviously disabled, so would've been alot easier with the card , also they do electric mobility scooters 33 Euro without card but 15 Euro with so again quite a saving with the card, it did make our visit much more relaxed so more enjoyable as without the scooter it would've been quite exhausting as like alot of zoos although wheelchair accessible its still very up and down and some steep slopes. We enjoyed our time here but do think it could do with a little face lift as does look a little tired in some places the animals look well looked after though and happy which of course is the most important part, they do time slotted shows to bring awareness of the animals, habitat and world wide standings. Overall we enjoyed ourselves but again remember to take blue badge on holiday to help save money and making life easier.

Lots of to see. Very big area and lots of fun

The two of us went just outside the regular holiday, wonderfully quiet and everything was good to see. The arrows of the corona were still visible and we used this to go around the zoo, nice and easy. It also overflowed nicely in different animal enclosures. And you really didn't have to walk your miles. And despite the full sun, there was plenty of shade, important for people and animals. All in all highly recommended.

Went on the sunset experience last night and it was amazing. Our tour guide was lovely and very friendly. She was extremely knowledgeable on all the animals and answered all questions asked. It was great seeing the animals active in the evening and we even got to handle some tiger whiskers and a rhino horn. Very worthwhile visit that last over 90mins. Thank you 😊

Zoo was terrible in regards to the animals, enclosure no where near big enough, the panthers enclosure was no where near big enough and barely any water, all enclosures looked tiny. The tigers all looked skinny and unhealthy, especially the white tiger, it was injured, had a huge swollen leg and was limping around. The feeding time was dreadful, feeding 5 tigers with the same amount of meat that i would eat in a day. Made my family sad to see it. Not a place I would ever go back to or would suggest to anyone.

The location of this zoo isn’t really an idea location. I stayed in Benidorm and it was an hour walk. There is a bus route 15 and 42 but they come every hour but it’s difficult to navigate where to get on / off at. Tried to get a taxi but they could not collect you from the zoo as it was out of the zone but seen another taxi there. The zoo costs £20 from Get Your Guide but €38 at the zoo itself so book online to save some £s. The zoo itself is smaller than expected. The entrance has a really bad smell even though there are no animals there. You can rent out a buggy / mobility scooter (cant recall the price) if you have mobility issues. There are some places to eat but they sell the same food. It does say you are not allowed to take your own picnic there (which is silly) There is a play area for kids. The aqua park was closed when I went. Some animals look like they are not well looked after. If you need something to do with kids / have nothing planned, this will do but would not go out of my way. Took around 2 hours for me to go around the whole zoo.

A nice day with family and friends i was here in januari early in the morning its nice and calm lots to see and did enjoy it food is allright dont expected to mutch of it just your normal burger and fries it's good to pass the day

A great place to take the whole family for a day out. The animals & birds are mostly in large open enclosures in multiple settings . We enjoyed the spectacular bird of prey show which is free to watch. Well worth a visit if you love seeing a wide range of animals & birds from around the world. There are plenty of places around the park to stop and have drinks & food.
