We actually wanted to go on Wavedancer but that was fully booked so switched - and were very pleased we did. Lots of free flowing drinks, good food and entertainment. We would definitely recommend and come back again!
We were welcomed onto the Ocean Vision Sunset Cruise by a lovely, friendly crew who made a great first impression. Being greeted with a welcome drink and personally shown to our seats was a really nice touch and instantly made the evening feel special. Throughout the night, the team regularly came around taking drink orders and checking on guests. The only small downside was that the drinks sometimes took quite a while to arrive, and on one occasion we had to remind the staff that we were still waiting. However, the crew remained warm, helpful, and welcoming throughout the experience. The food was definitely one of the highlights of the evening. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, and I really appreciated how well organised the food service was. The way they arranged the queues meant there was no overcrowding or long chaotic waits, which made the whole experience much more relaxing. Another small but thoughtful detail was having blankets available for anyone who felt chilly as the evening went on - little touches like that really do make a difference. The entertainment was a bit of a mixed experience. The saxophone player was fantastic and created the perfect atmosphere for a sunset cruise. The violinist was clearly talented too, although personally I wasn’t sure that style of performance quite fitted the mood of the evening. The main stage entertainment unfortunately didn’t quite have the wow factor I was hoping for. The lead entertainer felt a little too much at times, and some of the singing and dance performances came across as quite basic. The choreography didn’t feel very exciting, and at points the guests themselves brought more energy to the dance floor than the performers. Starting with songs like Queen so early in the evening perhaps wasn’t the best choice, as people were still settling in and weren’t quite ready to join in. However, the acrobatic performances and Ali Baba act were a completely different story - they were fun, impressive, and genuinely entertaining. They definitely added something special to the night. Then the DJ arrived, and honestly that’s when the whole cruise transformed. The atmosphere completely changed - everyone was suddenly up dancing, singing, laughing, and having the best time. The energy was amazing, and it felt like this was the moment everyone had been waiting for. Personally, I think the DJ should have been introduced much earlier because that was when the night truly came alive. The fireworks display at the end was absolutely beautiful and created such a magical and emotional finish to the evening. It was the perfect way to end the cruise.
A superb evening of entertainment, drinks ( most) and food buffet included, the boat is huge! Table service for drinks, all staff were very helpful and attentive. The entertainers are great and Matthew is a great compere and showman , very funny. The fireworks were very impressive and the Ibiza style DJ and light show at the end of the evening were great too. Well worth the money.
We booked directly with them and got a good discount. We had a great table for six. Entertainment began with a sax player then a violinist who were both amazing. The guy who sang and danced was living his best life and was so enthusiastic and entertaining! The acts were fantastic and the end disco with fireworks rounded off a beautiful evening! The food and drinks were great. The whole trip was very well organised. Would do it again!
What an amazing evening from start to finish. It’s a beautiful boat. Very well organised in terms of seating drinks and the buffet. Staff work really hard. Entertainment is non stop ending with a DJ and chance to get up and dance before the night ends with fireworks.
The overall experience was wonderful on the surface, but inside the ship the experience is less noticeable. 66% of the shows are hosted by a singer who goes on forever. He also can't sing well. Bad sound, gi gi without style, making a mix of everything and rhythm. Doesn't liven up the party. The food was good. At the end, the fireworks and the rehearsal are one huge show.
Great entertainment and food was fantastic. Drink service very slow, even for a water. Not the staffs fault.
Wow from start to finish. Family friendly. Fire works buffet caberat and show and drinks all inclusive
Great night. Entertainment great, food nice, drinks ok. They didn't fulfil my request sent weeks before as my nan who is disabled is unable to walk far, I requested a seat on main deck near buffet on order to be in a location convienient for her needs. However when arrived told me they were full on main deck so had to do another flight of stairs to get to a upper deck, which was a shame as it put a bit of a damper on the evening.
From the moment you step on board the staff meet and greet you, treat you with respect. Before you cast off the entertainment starts, with saxophone and violin playing, gin fizz as a welcome drink. Once under way the show begins, all the acts did a great job, worth the money. The food was plentiful and covered most pallets. Drinks are table service only and no complaints. Entertainment all night accumulated with a DJ party and fireworks display on return to port. The staff even lined route off the ship. Highly recommend
