We unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with this booking. Due to circumstances completely outside our control, we were delayed by multiple TITSA buses. The first bus was not only late, but also full, forcing us to wait for the next one, which was also delayed. As a result, it became clear that we would not arrive in time for our scheduled tour. As soon as we realised this, we made every effort to contact the tour operator. We called the number provided but received no answer. We were then put through to a TripAdvisor representative, who also attempted to contact the operator on our behalf, but again nobody answered. We therefore had no way of informing them before the tour departed, despite genuinely trying to do so. Later that day, the operator called asking why we had not attended. After explaining the situation, I was disappointed by the lack of understanding shown. I was made to feel as though the situation was entirely our fault, despite the fact that we had done everything we reasonably could to make contact, including the TripAdvisor representative assuring us they would attempt to get in touch with them, but the operator claimed nobody hsd contacted them. The operator said we could either receive a refund if we were leaving Tenerife the following day or rebook for another day. Unfortunately, we already had activities planned each day for the remainder of our holiday. When I tried to explain this, I was repeatedly interrupted and the call ended before I had the opportunity to finish speaking. I completely understand that missed bookings can happen and that companies have policies to follow. However, I expected a far more professional and understanding response, particularly when we had made genuine attempts to contact them. Unfortunately, the customer service we experienced left us feeling blamed rather than helped.
Great trip on a smaller boat enabling us to get up close. The Catamaran has solar panels and so can run silent when up close. This meant that an inquisitive baby wale came within 2 or 3 metres of the boat. Take a snorkel to help seeing the fish when you stop for a swim off the coast on the way back. Thanks for a great day
Brilliant, saw dolphins and whales which was amazing. Great drinks and a nice sandwich on board. Crew fantastic, friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Loved swimming off the boat, felt safe and very refreshing. Wish we had taken some cash to give a tip at the end. Really great trip.
We saw pilot whales very close, the guides were excellent
There were more than 60 people on a medium catamaran, and we had to sit next to where the beer was served, without a direct view of the sea. The food was just a basic ham and cheese sandwich, and we drank watered-down San Miguel beer and Pepsi. It is true that we saw dolphins and pilot whales for a while, and that was the best part of everything, but everything else was very deficient. I do not recommend it; it is better to look for a tour that does not oversell the spots.
This was such a worthwhile excursion and I am so happy we have been. The guides were very knowledgeable, fun and nice to my son in particular. We absolutely loved seeing the pilot whales and it completely awed my son. The sea swim dip was a nice addition too! Overall we would really recommend this experience, it was absolutely beautiful to see animals and hear them in their natural habitat. The crew really seemed to respect the animals too. Would love to do again.
Great trip, not too busy and the crew were lovely. Saw plenty of wild life and got a decent swim/snorkle in too. Highly recommend
It was a good experience, very friendly crew, excellent tour, they fulfilled everything that was promised. Good quality/price ratio. I will repeat it on another occasion.
Fantastic value for money on a lovely boat. It wasn't full, but even if it had been, it wouldn't have been a very large group, which we liked. Lovely areas to recline on the catamaran. Drinks brought to you- white wine, beer, water, soft drinks. Sandwich was tasty and fresh but a bit small and with no other food (fruit was mentioned on the booking). We found the whales quite quickly and I was impressed with how sensitive the staff were to keep their distance and respect these beautiful creatures. We had an amazing encounter as some swam under the boat. I found it very powerful when we could hear their calls on the hydrophone. Moving on, we passed close to some impressive cliffs and a rock arch, but no turtles today. The guide didn't know which birds were nesting there, but was knowledgeable about the whales. Then we moored off the cliffs in deep water for a swim- lovely clear water. Having our light lunch we then headed back. The 3 hours passed quickly! The music on the way out was 80s retro, and on the way back more modern dance, if that influences your choice of boat trip! Very good value and lovely crew
Mario and Raphael were very attentive and friendly, explained a lot, and made the tour very enjoyable. The whales and dolphins were the icing on the cake of the tour.
