First of all, I had difficulties to arrive to the meeting point. In fact, the organizer has not confirmed the tour prior to 9 AM in the morning of the tour when he called me and started telling me that they were going to leave without me. I was on my way to the meeting point (which was not easily to find being close to the railway station) and I was lost as the google map directions were bad. Anyway, once I arrived to the small bus or van, in which it was a driver, I realized that the van was almost full and that our seats were small and could not find a good seat. There were around 15 people crowded in the van. The driver also told us that the first stop was going to be after 3 hours, so I concluded that this was unacceptable sitting so many hours in such a small bus with approx. 15 people and not enough space. These conditions were unacceptable for me. The organizer was not polite also - as well as the driver - therefore, I left the bus and I would never take such a long tour in such conditions.
We had a FANTASTIC time!!! Our tour guide, Ian, was absolutely wonderful and we would HIGHLY recommend taking a tour with him - very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. A fantastic way to see a beautiful part of Wales!!

Wonderful trip. Small group. Enjoyed seeing the castle and exploring the town with the waterfall. FYI you don’t need passport to go between England and Wales but you can bring it to get stamped in town saying you been to Wales. Line for food in Betsy-y-coed was long. May consider bringing your own lunch.

The guide Cole ( or Paul) had great knowledge about the history behind all of the areas we visited and or drove by; his grandfather was Welch. That likely explains his love for the area that he shared.

I joined this tour in June 2026, and it was one of the highlights of my UK trip. The combination of Conwy, Betws-y-Coed, Snowdonia, and Caernarfon Castle made for a fantastic day filled with history and amazing photo opportunities. A special thank you to our guide and driver, David, who was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and kept everything running smoothly throughout the day. A few tips for future travelers: - If you want to visit Conwy Castle, entry is through the gift shop/ticket desk, and admission is not included in the tour. - The church in Betws-y-Coed may appear closed, but you often need to turn the handle and push firmly at the same time because of the unusual latch. - Betws-y-Coed is the best lunch stop. There is a great bakery selling Cornish pies and pastries, and you can enjoy them by the river, where there are plenty of benches. Overall, a wonderful tour and an excellent way to see some of the best of North Wales in a single day. Highly recommended!
