The North End tour with Saba was a delight. She has amazing stories and a great grasp of the history and characters of the neighborhood. Strolling along with her felt like just hanging out with s friend. She is very personable, smart, and fun and provided excellent tips on interesting photos to take during the tour. The cost of this tour is far less than other tours you can take in the city, and was even better than I had anticipated.

Be prepared for lots of people around you so if your guide doesn't have a microphone, walk close so you can hear them
Thanks for your 5 ⭐️ review and feedback, Jennifer! August weekends in the North End are busy with the lively Italian festivals. I keep my groups small so everyone can hear me, and no one mentioned any issues during our tour. I truly appreciate how much you told me you enjoyed learning about the history of Boston’s Little Italy at the end! Best, Saba Alhadi, Owner PhotoWalks Tours of Boston

The tour with Saba was informative and fun - I took my dad who loves Italian culture and the North End. He is a local and learned historical facts he’s excited to share. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for writing a great 5-review, Brittany. I'm so glad you and your dad had such a great experience in the North End-Little Italy as locals. There's a lot of fascinating history that's not often told and it's very rewarding for me to know that you learned a lot on a 90-minute walking tour. Hope to welcome you back on another PhotoWalks tour. With much thanks and appreciation, Saba
Even better than I expected (and I was looking forward to this for months)! Saba's passion and kind demeanor paired with her knowledge of the area, its history, and photography makes her an incredible teacher. She pulled up images of different buildings to show how they changed over the decades and talked about the drama and the humor of both (in)famous characters and the passersby who people the neighborhood. Her tips, techniques and ideas for capturing unique photos made me feel more confident in seeing good composition and creating interest in each picture. Saba is also kind enough to take pictures of you (and your group). Perfect weather, good conversation, low foot traffic (Thursday 10:00am session) Will be back to take the others the next time I'm in town!
I'm so glad the PhotoWalks North End-Little Italy tour exceeded your expectations! What a great time we had on a beautiful fall day to explore a few Freedom Trail sites, scenic locations and the energetic Italian vibe in Boston's oldest neighborhood. Looking forward to welcoming you back to Boston on another tour! All the best, Saba
