Jan was an awesome guide. I went with two friends and we all had a lot of fun. Even though we were quite unfortunate with the weather, Jan made sure we still could find some stingrays. He also told us a lot about them and the everglade system. We would totally do it again.
Thanks for the great feedback, Jan is an amazing guide. I will pass on your kind words. See you for another adventure soon!!
Small group with great guide. Relaxed paddle and saw heaps of stingrays and birdlike in the mangroves of Lake Weyba.
Thanks for the wonderful review, we hope to see you again for another adventure!
A wonderful 3 hours kayak tour: stingrays (different kinds), kangaroos jumping on the shallow waters of the Lake Weyba, a snake enjoying the sun in a tree, beautiful mangroves, some birds. A very interesting and knowledgeable guide, a small group (10 people and 1 guide), kayaks in good condition, tips how to paddle a the start of the tour: perfect!
Wow it sounds like all the wildlife came out to play on tour for you!! We are so blessed with all of the treats this tour has to share. I will pass your wonderful feedback on to your guide, and we hope to see you for another adventure next time you come down under!
Great activity, our German guide had great knowledge and insight and you can tell he is happy and passionate about the work he does and gets to teach people a thing or two while out on the water. Had beautiful weather and saw many stingrays as ‘promised’. The guide really helped tie the experience together and provided awesome insight, banter and commentary. Would absolutely recommend.
So happy to hear you enjoyed the experience and the wildlife came out to play for you!! See you for the next adventure soon!
One of our fav experiences on our Australia trip. Seen lot of stingrays and was glad to join the guided tour, so we could hear lot of background information about the animals and environment. Jan was a great guide, would be happy to go again
Thanks so much for coming on an adventure with us! I will pass your kind words on to Jan. He is an amazing guide and we are blessed to have him taking guests out on adventures.
Me, my husband, and son spent 3 hours on the water in our kayaks. Incredible nature, we saw many stingrays, cockatoos, pelicans, and osprey, and other wildlife. We were given delicious coconut water from a cooler, and healthy environmental friendly snacks. Being on the water in such a peaceful environment while still being active was perfect. Tips: Bring a hat / sunglasses, sun coverage, and nature friendly sunscreen (zinc based)
Thank you for the kind words, we are so blessed to share this special place with you and happy to hear all of the wildlife came out to say hi!! See you next time!
It was amazing! The lake and waterways are beautiful and you can see an abundance of wildlife ranging from fish to rays to sea eagles. You need a bit of power to do the trip but overall the water is very calm which makes for an easy paddle
Thank you for the amazing review and its great to hear all the wildlife came out to see you!! We hope to see you on another adventure soon!
While I booked on-line, I got an immediate answer when I called to ask questions about the self-guided tour. They were up-front about the lake level being low which would require dragging the kayak in parts, but ultimately this only added to the experience. We were given a thorough briefing and a clear map for our trip. We saw plenty of stingrays (having someone wearing polarized glasses and standing up helped a lot) and really had an enjoyable overall experience
So glad to hear you had fun and saw lost of wildlife! We hope to take you on another adventure sometime soon.
We met Jan at the end of the road and everything was set up ready to go. It is one of those experiences where nature may or may not cooperate, but we set out and it was spectacular. Jan was very knowledgeable and obviously enjoyed the opportunity his work gave him to share a serene part of the natural world with others.
Thank you for the wonderful feedback, I will pass it on to Jan. See you for another adventure soon!
For the first time, I went on a self-guided kayak adventure. I was a little hesitant at first, but it ended up being one of the best things I've ever done. Paddling across the lake, surrounded by nothing but water, was incredibly peaceful. Along the way, I spotted two stingrays, so many birds, and just took in the beauty around me. I honestly don't have the words to describe how special it felt. I highly recommend the self-guided kayaking experience. The guide who welcomed me (Madi) was so kind and made me feel comfortable from the start. She gave a great introduction for a complete beginner, and even took some photos for me before I headed out. Such a lovely soul.
Thank you so much for your great review. Its truly magical out on the water, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it as much as we do. Will pass on your kind words to Madi, we think she is awesome too.
