We recently had the pleasure of experiencing our first bike and wine tour, thanks to our dear friend Wayne, who gifted us this experience. Our small group of six made for an ideal day of cycling, wine tasting, dining, and engaging conversation. Our guide, Ian, was exceptional and ensured the experience was enjoyable from beginning to end. We began at Grape Escape, where we collected our bikes before heading to Jackson-Triggs for a comprehensive winery tour. We gained insight into the winemaking process, from vineyard to bottle, while sampling a selection of wines along the way. From there, we cycled to Caroline Cellars for additional wine tasting and a delicious lunch. The selection was excellent, and depending on the package chosen, lunch included a glass of wine. The food, conversation, and company made this stop a highlight of the day. Our final stop was Marynissen Estates before returning to our starting point. Overall, it was a full day filled with enjoyable experiences, meaningful conversations, great company, excellent food, and, of course, outstanding wine. Would we have been satisfied with just two wineries? Absolutely. However, the 20 km bike ride elevated the entire experience. Thank you, Ian, for your outstanding guidance throughout the tour. You were excellent. Here’s to more adventures, more miles, and more memories.

It was a nice day. Wish there was a little more wine. My only real complaint is the last of three wineries. It was not a nice place and definitely not a good winery vibe.

Winery Cyle Tour and Delicious Lunch . We went for a quick getaway for a few days. We would highly recommend Grape Escape Cycle Tour! Our guide John was so friendly and accommodating. I definitely would recommend this. We upgraded to e bikes and had a very enjoyable time. I would recommend Chris as a guide very knowledgeable and pleasant.

The Bike-and-Winery with lunch was a great choice to give visiting friends an engaging, informative and enjoyable experience first day in Niagara. The weather was also *perfect* but our tour-guide Diane, the bikes & fittings at Grape Escape, I think would have made the most of any day. Full tour of larger winery to start, then lunch at a smaller place that had a good restaurant, and ended at a small winery with a quiet patio. Would absolutely do the bike tour again instead of a bus tour.
