Cours de cuisine Nia Bali Seminyak

Description

Fabulous morning learning and preparing food. Jim was an awesome chef, we enjoyed and sharing the food we all helped prepare was a cool experience, especially given we cooked up a storm of delicious food 😋
The food was great and the class was fun, you participate in the cooking but it’s not extremely involved or hard which was great for our group!
Fantastic experience, very well organized, and a very friendly atmosphere. The chef was cordial and very professional, the explanations were precise and very detailed.
Visit to Local market with the chef. Huge and well-organized kitchen/dining area. Groups of 8 to 10 people, so there is a real opportunity to cook. Clean and welcoming.
Awesome class where you visit the market to learn about the ingredients. The Chef was knowledgeable, food was delicious, and table mates are new friends. Great time was had. Highly recommend this class as you get your money's worth.
What a wonderful day, I highly recommend this tour, trip to the local market to see what ingredients are used. Then to the restaurant to be shown how to cook Balinese meal. Lots of beautiful fresh ingredients and after we cooked them 12 meals in total, we got to sit and enjoy the meals. A must do trip when coming to Bali.
This was a professionally run experience, with lots learnt, so many dishes made and plenty of light-hearted fun. We got to cook in the open air but in luxury, and to taste snacks and then our meals.
Bouncing along in a mini cab through the throngs in Seminyak was just the beginning of one of the best mornings you could imagine. Our host, teacher, tour guide and chef, Komang, met us at a little market where we learnt all about the ingredients of not only Balinese cooking but also the traditional offerings placed each morning at the many thousands of temples on the island. We then headed to Warung Nia's new restaurant where he walked us through the creation of the two main sambals used as the base of much of their cooking and then helped us put together a diverse mix of nine or ten dishes. All of this was enabled by amazing pre-class preparation by his lovely helpers and his expert tuition based on years of hands-on experience. Chef Komang is a generous, knowledgeable, clever teacher with a wicked sense of humour, who captured us with his vibrant and winning personality. I really can't recommend this experience more highly. Just the lunch we ate, that WE had created, was worth the fee, but we all walked away fuller in so many more ways. Thank you Komang and all of your team. Oh, and the two guys behind the bar are also bloody hilarious.
So much fun! So interactive and good for all level of cooking ability. Trip to the market in the morning was great to see where the ingredients come from. Good for families, couples, or solo. The instructors and very interactive and knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend.
We did this cooking class as a family of 5 for my sons 26th birthday. Pick up from our villa was on time and we were taken to the markets then the school. I've done lots of classes but I liked this one because the Chef made sure everyone was involved. The food was amazing and we were given a cook book of all the things we made.
