We truly appreciate your honesty, and we are glad to hear that communication before the tour and the early pick-up from Arusha went smoothly. We are sorry to hear that the experience inside the crater did not feel as long as you expected. For clarity to future travelers, we would like to gently highlight that a standard Ngorongoro Crater game drive typically lasts 5–6 hours. This timing is set by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority and applies to all tour operators, as crater visits are limited for conservation reasons. The timings also include permit processing, descending into the crater, the game drive itself, lunch, and ascending back out of the crater. Because you joined a group safari, there are scheduled points where guests are transferred to or from their respective campsites, which can add short waiting periods as we coordinate different travelers’ itineraries. This is a normal part of group operations, and we always do our best to keep transitions smooth and efficient. Regarding your concern about wildlife viewing and guiding: our guides are trained to communicate with each other via radio and to focus on locating wildlife safely. However, we take your comments seriously and will follow up internally to ensure that all guides maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times. We genuinely appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving.
