When registering with this company, you also have to be sure to download the website so that you get critical information, such as how long it takes for a bus to arrive at the loading/drop off points. That information is not shared after your registration is confirmed on the website. If it was on the website it was not obvious or easy to locate. They do share the points of interest but no information was shared as to how to look for their signage when hopping back on a bus or when the next bus would show up for a hop-on so you could plan your journey accordingly. In addition, there were not enough buses to accommodate the number of people who had registered. We hopped off at the ferry. When we hopped back on to complete our tour there were no seats left on the bus and so we completed our tour standing. It was difficult to enjoy the tour because we were not in a position to plug in our headphones. Not only was it standing room only, but at each new stop, not enough people were leaving the bus and new people were allowed to board. The bus was packed with riders. This made the remainder of our tour miserable.

For a first-time visitor to Manhattan and Brooklyn, the Big Bus Double Decker buses provide an optimal viewing experience from the upper deck. I recommend starting early on one of the first buses of the day (9am downtown loop or 10am uptown loop) to take full advantage of the day(s).

It was absolutely fabulous. The bus is a clean. The audio works fine not every tour operator is the same one of the buses with Libni as the tour operator, his bus was absolutely fantastic. He would stop run upstairs. Tell us all what to expect in the next few blocks said a bunch of jokes had a great personality was so happy to be at work something very hard to find he made the experience even better but the trip in general the tour is fabulous. Hop on hop off to what you want. It was great. I would recommend it to anyone.

A really great way to initially see some sights when you first get to NY city and help to get your bearings. I did the whole loop without getting off at first and then after I had made plans of what I wanted to see and when,I used the Big Bus and hoped off at the nearest stop. I found as a solo traveller it was safe and good value.

A good way to see the main sights and let me know what I was seeing but the commentary was recorded, a couple of times it didn’t seem to coincide with what I was looking at and a couple of times it stopped mid sentence for an announcement and didn’t restart where it left off. The announcement didn’t happen for the stop I wanted so I missed it. It was ok but think I’d try a different company if I did it again.

Great New York overview! Staff was very helpful and the buses did their best to stay on schedule dealing with NY traffic.

Easy way to get around to different areas.. you can see a lot on the top of the bus.. would do it again!

Great bus tour. We did the 72hr option which includes the night tour which was the best part of this tour. The day tour was very good as well but the sun was blazing at over 100 degrees that day and couldn’t enjoy as much as we would’ve wanted too.

It was hard to find a bus that was not full. We waited in the hot sun and then when we finally got on a bus the downstairs part had no air conditioning and no fans. We were miserable. Didn’t use the rest of our time.

Double check earphones working before bus leaves first stop. Great way to see city without walking or driving.
