Terrible. I paid for main cabin and all bathrooms were three flights. The elevator was broken. The boat showed up late by 40 minutes and it was raining with no overhead cover everyone got soaked. There was only one choice of wine which was cheap and terrible. They were only two choices of meals and they were not good. The meat was poor quality, and the salmon tasted old. The entertainment was on the next deck and my wife who has back troubles could not walk up the steps. It was a challenge just to get her to the bathroom. this was the worst cruise out to five that I have taken the boat which was supposed to be the Luisa of the seas turned out to be a small boat that was rusty not well cared for and small. I paid for high-quality service and did not get it. I did leave appropriate gratuities only because it’s in my my nature to take care of the waiters despite a poor experience.
It was a little disorganized in the beginning, thankful we arrived early enough to figure things out. Once we got on the boat and out into the water everything was phenomenal! The weather was breezy, but it was such beauty sights! The food wasn’t that great but the service was really good. It was worth the experience
We booked a dinner cruise on the Luisa of the Seas, a boat that looks to be at least 50 years newer than their other one, the Eternity. Upgraded to the VIP and added the romance package as this was for my wife's birthday as well. When we got to the location, the Luisa of the Seas was not there, but instead it was the Eternity. Doesnt seem like we were the only ones there that were disappointed by this, but staff was very dismissive and only told us we were on the right ship. Once we were boarded we were sat at our seat and given our drink vouchers. I was going to go to the bar to get a drink for me and my wife but our server said she would take care of it. We got our drinks promptly and then never got service again. Our waters were empty before we even left the dock and never got filled once. While at the bar I asked the bartender and my server about the Champagne that was supposed to come as part of our romance package, but suddenly the server did not speak english and kept asking if we wanted to purchase champagne. The bartender said she would take care of it, but that never happened either. The food was OK. My wife's salmon was excellent, but i ordered the steak which came out well done and was just submerged in a sauce to mask how bad the meat was. The menu had stated steak, salmon, chicken, pasta, and lobster tail dishes, but all they had were the salmon, steak, or lobster. Not a big deal as we werent ordering pasta or chicken, but just another advertised thing that never happened. The live music started out OK, but the woman doing the singing was wrecked by the end of the cruise and it sounded my like drunken karaoke by the time we were making our way back to the Pier. Tried reaching out to the support number before even boarding, but it goes to a voicemail, then texts you back asking if you want to cotinue support by text. I chose yes, but no one ever reached out. We spent a lot of money for things on this cruise that never happened.
To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my profound disappointment with the experience my wife and I had aboard your dinner cruise. Unfortunately, what was intended to be a memorable celebration for my wife’s 45th birthday turned into one of the most disappointing dining experiences we have ever had. From the very beginning, the evening was poorly managed. The boarding process was disorganized, and the vessel departed approximately 45 minutes behind schedule. This significantly reduced the amount of time spent enjoying the cruise and sunset, which was one of the primary reasons we booked this experience. The dining experience was equally disappointing. The food quality was far below expectations, lacking both flavor and presentation. For a premium-priced VIP experience, the meal was unacceptable. What was even more concerning was the level of customer service. Throughout the evening, not a single staff member checked on our table to ask whether we needed anything or if we were enjoying our experience. We were never offered the complimentary water or soft drinks that were included, while it appeared that surrounding tables received far more attentive service. We genuinely felt ignored. Prior to the cruise, I made multiple attempts to contact your company because I wanted to ensure this would be a special evening for my wife’s milestone birthday. Despite several efforts, I never received a response. That lack of communication was disappointing, but the complete lack of acknowledgment during the event made it even worse. The bar service was also unacceptable. I was served warm beer, cocktails that were overly sweet with very little alcohol, and the bartender was inattentive throughout the evening. To make matters worse, despite noting that we were celebrating my wife’s 45th birthday, there was absolutely no recognition from your staff. She was handed a single slice of cake without any utensils, no birthday acknowledgment, and no effort whatsoever to make the occasion feel special. After spending more than $550 on VIP tickets, this level of service is simply unacceptable. I also found it disappointing that, despite the boat not being at full capacity, no consideration was given to seating us at a window table. It was discouraging to see those seats occupied by single guests while a couple celebrating such an important milestone received no accommodation. Overall, I feel that the experience did not come close to delivering the level of quality, service, or value that was advertised. We invested a considerable amount of money expecting a premium experience and instead left feeling ignored, disappointed, and taken advantage of. I respectfully request that your management team review this matter and provide an explanation as well as an appropriate resolution. At a minimum, I believe a substantial refund or other meaningful compensation is warranted given how far the experience fell below reasonable expectations. I sincerely hope you take this feedback seriously so that future guests do not endure the same experience we did.
The steak was tough. Very disappointing. Two of us could not eat it. Workers did a good job. Views were nice.
The overall experience was great. Incredible views and attentive waitstaff. Maybe my expectations on the food were too high but it was just decent. I would definitely recommend it based on the experience but don’t expect a 5 star meal.
Today I’m a tourist of where I live, NYC. I never get tired of seeing the city at night cruising along the Hudson River while having a sumptuous dinner with the sound of great music. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Thanks for what you do 🥂
This was my first dinner cruise experience, was my daughters 35th birthday and we decided to do this Cruise. Not only was the atmosphere Pleasant and friendly the waitresses attending to our needs were awesome. The ship had a very cozy feel, I cannot say the food was top tier but it was okay overall we had an amazing time and we will definitely book this dinner cruise again.
The food is freshly prepared and delicious. The lobster meat is nice and tender. The ship rocking gives it a nice experience to enjoy the food, at least for me. All the soda, juice, and coffee you want. The music band was really good, The ship’s staff were friendly and bring you whatever drinks you want. The ship’s night lights were pretty. The appetizer plate of cheeses and meats were good and fresh. I just wish there was a little more dessert instead of just one slice of cake.
Our dinner cruise was canceled on the night before. Apparently equipment issues. We are supposedly getting a refund.
