The Sweet & Spicy Experience est un tour dans le monde des deux produits alimentaires les plus célèbres de Calabre: La dame rouge, l’oignon rouge de Tropea, et la reine de Calabre, la Nduja de Spilinga. Deux vraies stars en cuisine, aimées des plus grands chefs nationaux et internationaux. La Cipolla Rossa de Tropea, connue pour sa douceur, est un humble ingrédient de la tradition paysanne calabraise avec de nombreuses propriétés curatives. Le Nduja, un salami à tartiner épicé traditionnel au goût intense et unique, symbolise toute une région. Au cours des expériences sucrées et épicées, les clients visiteront une ferme d'oignons et une usine de Nduja, découvrant toutes les étapes de l'agriculture, les intrants de production et le cycle de vie des plantes et des animaux. Apprentissage de la combinaison et de leur utilisation en cuisine. Dégustation d'une sélection de produits directement sur les fermes.

Such an interesting tour of the Tropean onion fields and tasting of unique products. This was followed by a visit to the Nduja factory! Delicious on bread and so many other ways. Enzo who owns the business, is extremely informative, helpful and kind. We learned so much.

Our tour was led by Enzo who made this experience worthwhile before we reached the Tropea Onion fields and the Nduja factory. The Tropean onions are unique and we learned why. Ndjua is delicious. Great to learn how its made and how to use it.
