Navigation en bateau vers les glaciers Balmaceda et Serrano depuis Puerto Natales

Il s'agit d'une excursion en bateau à travers le détroit de Last Hope en direction du parc national Bernardo O'Higgins, pour visiter les glaciers Balmaceda et Serrano. Nous verrons non seulement ces géants glacials mais aussi la flore et la faune locales le long du chemin.

Itinéraire
Cette excursion en bateau part le matin de la jetée de Puerto Natales et nous conduit à deux glaciers, appelés Balmaceda et Serrano. Ils font partie du parc national Bernardo O'Higgins et ne sont accessibles que par bateau. Ce parc couvre une superficie de 4 300 000 hectares, ce qui en fait le plus grand au Chili et l’un des quatre plus grands parcs du monde. Il comprend le champ de glace de la Patagonie méridionale, la plus grande masse de glace du continent américain. Notre voyage vers et depuis la fin de Last Hope Sounds dure huit heures et comprend une excellente vue sur le vieux congélateur de Puerto Bories, plusieurs petits ranchs, des champs de glace et des cascades, une colonie de cormorans dont le nom commun est Imperial Shag ainsi qu'une rocaille d'otarie. Depuis le bateau, nous pourrons également voir la flore locale, qui comprend des forêts d'arbres portant des noms locaux tels que coigue, canelo, ñirre et lenga. Après trois heures de voyage, nous prévoyons atteindre le glacier Balmaceda, situé du côté est de la montagne du même nom. Au bout du fjord, le bateau accostera pour permettre aux passagers de faire une promenade d’une demi-heure le long d’un lac jusqu’au point de vue du glacier de Serrano. Plus tard dans l'après-midi, nous retournerons à Puerto Natales par le même itinéraire.

No one spoke English… no guide, wasted my time and no value for the price… would no recommend for anyone….no photos of any value
A nice day, loaded in a shining 4x4 Huber at our hotel at 06:10 sparkling, brought to the boat, coffee, chatting with our screws screws, well wedged on our armchairs in the soft heat of the cabin and off we go, cool framing, outing on the deck or on the deck above the cabin, whenever we want, swimming prohibited, stops at the famous viewpoints, walk to the foot of a glacier, photos, photos, photos. Return to port after a stop super meal watered with Carmener or other according to taste, possible choice chicken, vegan, lamb in brazier the whole hearty sheltered in a large heated room, with friendly staff and attentive.Reembarkation.back to port enjoying a good whisky or other according to taste. One of our favorite excursions seeing the glaciers, the beautiful Andes Mountains, and the meeting the most wonderful and most welcoming peoples! Wishing and hoping to return soon!
The incredible view. Beautiful landscapes. Very bad guides, they don't explain anything more than the basics. We did not see the Balmaceda glacier. Delicious lunch at Hacienda Perales.
The check-in was convenient and efficient. We walked from our Hotel "Saltos del Paine" to the tour office. The short bus ride to the boat dock was prompt and courteous. The return bus ride was punctual and comfortable. The boat crew courteous and helpful giving explanations of the waterfalls and the glaciers.
