Misrepresented Had difficulty finding our pickup person at the port. Finally found him and were the 5 and 6 person on the 8 person bus. No guide on board initially. Picked up another 2 passengers on the street, along with the guide which took about 1/2 hour. All other passengers were going to Pompei also. No mention in Description of this fact. The van was too small for 8 adults. Crammed in rear seat... No room for legs. Tour guide Lisette was rude and seemed annoyed that we were not continuing to Pompei. Things got worse when we told her we were to be returned to port, per specific agreement and email confirmation. She kept insisting that Viator screwed up. Thought we would be going into several cathedrals/chapels/ buildings but went into none. Basically drove around Naples Bay and had two photo ops, went back into center and coffee shop and WC, then had 1/2 hours free time without a guide. Guide finally arranged to get us a separate driver to the port. The driver brought 2 additional people to get on the trip to Pompeii. Appreciated that finally agreement specified in our booking email was carried out, but certainly not happily by the tour guide. Recommend you update the description to indicate yours is a combo tour with 2 different groups of passengers, and that tour guide is picked up after passengers. Need to provide a different van or limit group size to 6 people max. Very disappointing. Thank goodness the tour was not that expensive, or that would have added insult to injury.
We were met at our cruise ship and easily found our guide. We did realize we would be transported to another spot and carry on in a different vehicle. Then we went to a different area of the port and picked up more people. From there we started into and eventually stopped and picked up a guide and more people. These people only spoke Spanish so our tour ended up being in two languages. I find this annoying. What we saw of the city was just ok. On the positive side we were suppose to be dropped off at a shopping area but our guide offered to drop us back at the port which we appreciated.
The city view from the highest point was the best part of the tour. We never saw the inside of the cathedral, only saw it from a distance. We had a very brief and rushed stop at a pastry/expresso shop, with no explanation of how to purchase anything. The whole tour was cut short since we spent a lot of time trying to find our group with a non-English speaking man, and then driving through town to meet our tour guide. Since we were the only 2 folks not going to Pompeii we were combined with the Pompeii group and never got any real personal attention or adequate time. Everything for our part of the tour was rush, rush, rush.
Fantastic tour. Well organized and managed. I would like to point out the accompaniment of the driver Riccardo as professional, friendly and pleasant. I recommend this tour
Short and unpleasant. driver was constantly on the phone speaking in his language and didn't explain for 30 plus minutes why we didn't have a tour guide. Finally she showed up, spoke for 5 minutes, sent us to the church, divided group for 2 different destinations. It's it.
It's too expensive and you can't see. You only drive quickly past the sights. It is cheap to drive by hop on hop off bus. Not recommended.
Fun walking tour of Naples. Only six of us. Guide awesome. Lots of time for exploration. Two hours of super experience.

This tour got off to a slow start as we waited quite some time for the last group of participants. This might not have been their fault, we have found that sometimes Viator gives different starting times for the same tour. Once started, we visited the Duomo, which was interesting. Then we drove through the city to an overlook, which has a nice view of the city and harbor. Finally to Plebiscite Square, where we could appreciate the buildings. Short tour, gave us an appreciation of Naples, and the guide was fine. However, I'd recommend you look at other available tours.

This tour provided a great insight on Naples city. We got to see a lot of the sights in a short amount of time that allowed for extra exploring opportunities.

The tour is self was fine. However, I believe the pick-up and drop-off were to be at the cruise terminal. The vendor left me about a half-mile from the terminal and gave me instructions for how to walk back alone.
