Amazing experience! We had so much fun swimming with the pigs & snorkeling!
Friendly staff. Beach was clean and pigs were friendly. After pig interaction we went snorkeling saw some coral reefs and marine life. There was free time to enjoy the beach and relax before heading back. We made a quick stop on the way back to Nassau and were able to spot a few see sea turtles. Lots of fun.
I am writing to share my feedback about our recent activity. Overall, the experience was great, except for the snorkeling part. We were explicitly told that we were in Group 1. However, when the time came, the staff only called for Group 2. They never called Group 1 at all and just left to do the snorkeling activity without us. When we went to explain the situation to the staff, they didn't even try to find a solution or help us. They simply told us that we would be refunded for the snorkeling portion of the trip. Unfortunately, we still have not received that refund. Aside from this issue, the rest of the day was perfect, but we are very disappointed with how this situation was handled and are still waiting for our money back.
Good morning, We are happy to hear that you overall had an enjoyable day and we are sorry to hear that you missed the snorkeling portion, however, Group 1 was indeed called and all managed to participate, otherwise every single guest of Group 1 would have had a complaint -there were zero other complaints from the day. Regarding the refund: upon checking with the team, there was no mention of refunds. All of Group 1 managed to make the excursion. Thank you.
Experience was great! Crew was so helpful and kind with my daughter and I. Very kid and family friendly experience. Appreciated that is was just enough time to enjoy the experience without all the drinking as some are. If you are looking for one without the drinking and a kid friendly environment this is the one to do. They were also very knowledgeable of safety surroundings. Would definitely book with them again next time we come to the area!
There was no swimming with involved. Feeding the pigs in the water would be more accurate. That being said, my 14yo thought it was fun, the 12 yo loved it, and the 10yo was really scared. There was no snorkeling with the turtles. But now that I read it again, it was my misunderstanding. They took us to a (sadly) pretty tired reef for 20 minutes and we had to head back so they could try to make us buy something at the restaurant. If the time at the restaurant had been replaced with snorkeling, with or without turtles, it would be a 5 star review.
The most amazing experience. The island is beautiful and worth every penny for the adventure. The Guide/ Captain was so friendly. Would definitely book again!!
What a great excursion! We were met at the dock from the ship. The staff on the boat were very friendly. Then on rose island we were able to use all the amenities on the island like the kayaks, stand up paddle boards, water trampoline etc. The food was $25pp which we passed on. Swimming with the fish was the highlight of my kids day! Great time!
This was an experience of a lifetime and I am so glad I went while my husband went on his fishing trip! From the check in staff to the captain and crew on the boat to the staff on the island that worked with the pigs and guided The various groups to kayaking and snorkeling to the staff in the bar/ restaurant area, everyone was so friendly and was there to make the experience memorable for all Who were there. If you visit Nassau this is a definite must!
Very disorganized, we got 20 mins snorkeling over completely dead coral - clearly dead from large scale bleaching and then algal overgrowth, but blamed by the tour guide on 'tourists touching it'. Tour guides should have at least basic information about the ecology of the reef. The pig swim was bizarre.
Not quite sure what was bizarre about the pig swim as you booked the swimming pigs excursion…As for the coral, there is no bleaching period and we do not appreciate you stating ecological impressions as bold fact. We cannot control the marine life. If there is such a major, misplaced, concern regarding the Bahamas reefs, the correct department of complaint might be the Bahamas National Trust.
Check in was easy and boarding was quick. The crew of our ship was organized, friendly, helpful and very informative. The ride to the Sand Dollar Resort on Rose Island was smooth and we loved the historical information provided by the crew. Hint: Sit in the middle seats if you don't want to get wet. Meeting and feeding the pigs was so fun. Especially loved our snuggle with Cookie! The beach is private and the water is fairly calm and warm. Kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkelling and water trampolines were provided free of charge which was great. We choose snorkelling and saw most fish in the area where they bring out the pigs. There was lots of time to relax and take in the beauty of the island. On the ride home we stopped to see turtles in the water and checked out the celebrity beach mansions. Fabulous day and we would absolutely recommend it.
