Les lamantins sont l’une des créatures les plus incroyables et les plus insaisissables de la côte naturelle de Floride. La première chose que vous devez savoir sur les lamantins est qu'ils aiment rester au chaud. Ils passent la majeure partie de l'année à se prélasser et à chasser l'herbe marine dans le golfe du Mexique et affluent vers nos sources cristallines pour rester grillés pendant les mois d'hiver. Les sources de Floride restent constantes à 72 degrés toute l'année. Cela peut nous sembler cool, mais c’est juste pour les lamantins. Et personne ne sait mieux localiser ces créatures étonnantes que nos guides experts. Such a great experience. We had a blast! Would highly recommend this company to see the manatees!
1 - We were that all 4 and gous would not have been more than 6 and that is really important, because some groups were 10 or 15 around a manatee ... 2- We enjoyed the experience to the full without spending our time trying to take pictures. Our guide took care of it and sent it to us the same evening (and it’s included in the service.) 3- the kindness and authenticity of our Captain and our guide. 4- so yes, some companies have a beautiful boat, harmonized equipment (or everyone looks like everyone else 🤣) But I prefer the authenticity and intimate experience we were able to live. Thank you to them, a moment etched forever in our memories! PS: do not expect the water to be clear, the winds sometimes make the water very cloudy. The whole Tour was really awesome and will always be in our mind. Many thanks to the team. They took great care of us. We learned a lot about manatees and were able to get to know these amazing animals in a considerate way.
Great and friendly staff. We went for a trip to swim with the manatees and loved it. They adapted the tour to our needs (with three kids you never know). At the end we went to a different place to see a real alligator out in the wild. The boat was modern and easy going. Good sun protection as well. Since we were at the end of the season the water turned green already but still perfectly able to see them.
We were a little late making it to our excursion. Between traffic and wrong turns…but Captain Al was very accommodating, which we are so grateful for! (But please don’t be late!!! Like we were…) Carols our guid was very knowledgeable and great with my boys!! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you for helping us make great memories! Highly recommend going on this tour!!
What an adventure! Even though it was the closing day of Manatee Season, they made sure to find us a manatee to view. While on our private boating experience through the brackish waters, we were taught all about how to spot a manatee & how to interact properly, along with so many facts and funny stories about their personal interactions. Once donning the wet suits and snorkels provided, we descended into Crystal River down a very sturdy metal ladder. After spending time with the manatee, we were shown the natural springs where we snorkeled with schools of fish and turtles. And while we were doing all of this, our guide Carlos was taking pictures and videos so everyone could truly just live in the moment. Water & hot chocolate were even provided to help warm up after the slight chill of the river. The teens loved everything about this tour and the adults came away with some amazingly memories! 10/10 will 100% book again next season!
This tour was fantastic! Our family of 5 (kids are 6,9, and 15) had a blast swimming with manatees, checking out the springs and spending the morning with our amazing guides. These guys are fun, knowledgeable, friendly and made a 20+ year bucket list destination even better! It was just us on board, which made the trip extremely personable, my little guy did not want to leave his new buddy Carlos. Highly recommend!
Captain Al and our tour guide Carlos made this an unforgettable experience for my best friends 40th Birthday. They were punctual, informative, kind, helpful, and knowledgeable! We had an amazing time, observing the manatees from a safe, respectful distance. You can tell that Captain Al and Carlos truly care about to animals as well as ensuring that their guests have an enjoyable experience!
Best experience! Knowledgeable tour guides. It was absolutely amazing swimming along the beautiful gentle giants. It was so surreal to be so close, and see them in their natural environment. The mommy and baby were just the sweetest.
