Imprégnez-vous de l'air frais des montagnes et de la vue imprenable sur l'Himalaya lors d'une visite privée de 7 à 8 heures au départ de Katmandou, Patan ou Bhaktapur. Après le lever du soleil, arrêtez-vous pour le petit-déjeuner ou un thé / café à l'hôtel à Nagarkot et commencez la randonnée vers Changu Narayan, un site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO et le plus ancien temple hindou de la vallée de Katmandou. Le temple est dédié au Seigneur Vishnu et est connu pour ses sculptures en pierre exquises, ses sculptures et son architecture complexe. La distance entre la randonnée de Nagarkot à Changu Narayan est d'environ 12 kilomètres et il faut environ 4 à 5 heures pour terminer la randonnée, en fonction de votre rythme et des arrêts que vous faites en cours de route. Veuillez noter que depuis Nagarkot, les vues sur la montagne ne sont visibles que par temps clair et sans nuages.

Votre guide privé viendra vous chercher à votre hôtel à 4 h 15 pour vous rendre à Nagarkot en 90 minutes de route. Vous passerez devant des petites villes, des forêts luxuriantes, des routes sinueuses et des petits salons de thé tout en admirant des panoramas de montagne au loin. À environ 24 miles de Katmandou, Nagarkot se dresse à une altitude de 7 200 pieds (2 195 mètres). Admirez le lever du soleil depuis la tour d'observation de Nagarkot et votre guide vous indiquera les différentes chaînes de montagnes de l'Himalaya au loin, notamment les chaînes de l'Annapurna, de Mansiri, de Langtang, de l'Everest et de Rolwaling. De là, vous suivrez un petit sentier pédestre jusqu'au village de Rohini Bhanjyang, qui offre une vue imprenable sur les montagnes de l'Himalaya. De là, le sentier escarpé traverse les petits hameaux de Kankre et Tanchok jusqu'à Tusal, où il monte à travers des fermes et des terres agricoles jusqu'à Opi. Une heure de marche environ, vous arriverez à la magnifique station de montagne de Dhulikhel, dotée d'une beauté naturelle majestueuse. Les montagnes enneigées ont souvent l’air de flotter dans les airs lorsque la brume bleue recouvre leurs flancs, tandis que les paysages de terres agricoles et de sommets montagneux sont intemporels. Passez un peu de temps à Dhulikhel à admirer la vue et à prendre de superbes photos avant que votre chauffeur privé ne vienne vous chercher, vous et votre guide. Katmandou est à un peu plus d’une heure de route, vous devriez donc être de retour à votre hôtel avant 13h00, si le trafic le permet.

We booked a private Nagarkot sunrise tour with BreakFree, plus the hike to Changunarayan. It ended up being a cloudy morning, so we didn’t really get the full sunrise, but the trip was still worth it. The hike took about three hours and included crossing a pretty cool 250m suspension bridge along the way. It was an easy walk overall and a really nice way to get a glimpse of local life. Our guide, Razz was great, and our driver, Sujan - super calm with all the crazy traffic.

Razz and Sujan are the perfect guides! The staff were very friendly, patient and helpful. We saw a lot of animals along the way and were particularly surprised. The village residents are warm and friendly, the sunrise is stunning and the hiking experience around the village is superb. It was a memorable and wonderful journey and highly recommended!

Our guide Deepak was really fun and informative, he was very laid back allowing us to walk at our own pace and full of information regarding Nepal, Hinduism, history, politics and more. The walk and view were beautiful and though it was very cold we arrived early enough to see the mountains before the morning mist and sun began to cover the view. The temple was beautifully decorative and a very interesting experience.

Very good experience. Our driver and guide were excellent although we didn't have a great view due to the clouds. No fault of the company obviously. Found a great place for breakfast near the temple also. Better to pack your breakfast if you are running a bit late. Highly recommended!
