Nadia was an amazing tour guide, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the exhibits. We learned a lot and would definitely not enjoyed the museum half as much without Nadia guiding us through it. We can't recommend it enough.
Our guide Mrs. Luisa Boscolo was very good, very clear and professional. Highly recommended. Very interesting experience
Grazie a voi! Che piacere mi ha fatto avervi miei ospiti nel lungo racconto del Museo Egizio!
Wonderful, exceptional. With the unique experience guide. Organized museum, special very close to the center.,.......
Grazie veramente per il vostro apprezzabile commento. Luisa
Excellent location of the rooms, guided tour done via good quality and clear audio, an accurate visit takes three hours. An Italian pride that deserves to be visited. Tickets can only be booked online.
Grazie molte per il vostro commento, che mi onora. Luisa
With emotion, I and a small group of friends entered the museum, because I had been waiting for this opportunity for a long time. It's Saturday afternoon, there are a lot of people, perhaps too many, but having a headset I hope that the guide's voice reaches us clearly. Unfortunately the guide does not prove to be up to par from the beginning:...notions, information not placed in a context, on the one hand it takes for granted some knowledge about the world created by the Egyptians to overcome death, on the other it simplistically presents objects , funerary monuments, material that should amaze, almost absentmindedly, without emotion.... The guide trivializes so much that what we observe has only the charm of a minute, while I look... What a disappointment! My friends, once they come out, agree with me. How is it possible that in a museum of such quality there are such mediocre guides. Therefore it is only for this reason that we do not give the maximum rating, only for this reason!
I would like to thank Matteo, the leader of our group, who has been able to involve adults and children in a witty and captivating way. It made the tour pleasant, interesting and above all not boring, which is absolutely not obvious. Great job!! Monica , Matilda and Germano
Really interesting lots to see, it is probably best to book online first as time slots do get sold out. We found it a bit of a confusing layout and nearly missed the collections in the rooms on the bottom floor, which are the best. Definitely worth a visit as it is an amazing collection.
Must see after the Cairo museum. Driving is a whole other life. You start from the top floor to get to the end of the statue room that leaves you speechless. Go absolutely there.
I returned with immense pleasure this time however with my daughter, a beautiful experience, a place well cared for and detailed in its details, clean tidy and very very interesting. The guides are important for large groups but you are alone with the family you can self-taught the captions are very interesting and detailed you will seem to relive the past of Egyptian civilization in nothing. Beautiful experience, my daughter after studying it at school see it live to its why. Promoted with flying colors according to my experience in the field I recommend it to all those interested in history and not.
I had visited before, but now, with the total renovation of the museum, it is even more fantastic than before. There's everything about the subject, so much stuff, so many unique finds. You live a surreal atmosphere, it seems to have gone to those times.... You can not describe it, you have to visit it. Air conditioning inside such as to make you forget the summer heat that surrounds everything outside. With the formula I adopted, label online, I did not queue at the ticket office but went straight to the entrance turnstiles. The price, considering the uniqueness of the place, is absolute competitive. My choice in the week, allowed me a thorough visit of everything, without guide, and without crowd. Maybe on weekends, there might be more people visiting-------------------Anyway, it's one of those places that MUST be seen at least once in a lifetime.
