Spécialement, j'ai conçu cette visite aux touristes qui veulent connaître une bonne information historique sur le site du patrimoine à Anuradhapura , le bouddhisme , la culture bouddhiste , l'expérience spirituelle , et le bon vélo. J'ai ajouté spécial quelques routes de village à cette visite pour voir autour avec la nature , des plantes, quelques oiseaux , des animaux . Le temps de la tournée change selon les membres du groupe . il s'agit d'un arbre bo sacré historique (Ficus religiosa) dans le jardin Mahamewuna à Anuradapura
Lovamahapaya est un bâtiment situé entre Ruwanweliseya et Sri Mahabodiya dans l'ancienne ville d'Anuradhapura, au Sri Lanka. Il est également connu sous le nom de Palais d'Airain ou Lohaprasadaya car le toit était recouvert de tuiles en bronze.
Le Ruwanweli Maha Seya, également connu sous le nom de swarnamali maha seya (litt. « le Grand Thupa »), est un stupa (une structure hémisphérique contenant des reliques) situé à Anuradhapura, au Sri Lanka. Deux quarts ou un Dona des reliques du Bouddha sont conservés dans le stupa, ce qui en fait la plus grande collection de ses reliques au monde.[1] Il a été construit par le roi cinghalais Dutugemunu en c. 140 avant JC, qui devint roi du Sri Lanka après une guerre au cours de laquelle le roi Chola Elāra (Ellalan) fut vaincu.
Les Kuttam Pokuna (étangs ou piscines jumeaux) sont d'anciens réservoirs ou étangs de baignade bien conservés au Sri Lanka.
Le Bouddha Samadhi est une célèbre statue située dans le parc Mahamevnāwa à Anuradapura. La posture de méditation associée à son premier illumination. Cette statue mesure 7 pieds 3 pouces de haut et est sculptée dans du marbre de granit.
Abhayagiri Vihāra était un monastère majeur du bouddhisme Theravada, Mahayana et Vajrayana situé à Anuradhapura, au Sri Lanka.
ce lieu d'aumône Situé à proximité de l'Uttara Mula, il est considéré comme le réfectoire principal du monastère d'Abayagiri. Il s'agit d'un bâtiment carré de 42,7 m de côté. Quatre étapes de construction datant du 1er siècle avant JC ont été découvertes lors des fouilles du site. Vous pouvez voir des canoës à riz.
Sandakada Pahana, également connue sous le nom de Moonstone, est une caractéristique unique de l'architecture de l'ancien Sri Lanka.[1][2][3] Il s'agit d'une dalle de pierre semi-circulaire richement sculptée, généralement placée au bas des escaliers et des entrées. Apparu pour la première fois à la fin de la période Anuradhapura, le sandakada pahana a évolué tout au long de la période Polonnaruwa, Gampola et Kandyan. Selon les historiens, le sandakada pahana symbolise le cycle du Samsāra dans le bouddhisme.
Ce gigantesque étang artificiel appelé « Eth Pokuna » ou « Elephant Pond » est situé près de Lankaramaya à Anuradhapura. Il s'agit d'un étang rectangulaire de 159 mètres de long, 52,7 mètres de diamètre et 9,5 mètres de profondeur, avec une capacité de rétention de 75 000 mètres cubes d'eau. Eth Pokuna littéraire signifie « l'étang aux éléphants » en raison de son ampleur. Cela fait partie du paysage de l’immense monastère d’Abhayagriya qui s’étend sur 500 acres. Le réservoir est constitué de gros blocs de pierre empilés en biais sur les murs. Il y a 3 séries d'escaliers vers le bas, sur les côtés sud, nord et est. Le fond n'est pas pavé.
C'est l'une des plus belles pierres de garde anodines de srilanka

Un bâtiment colonial britannique de 1937 offre un lieu convenablement régalien pour certains des trésors trouvés à Jetavanarama.

The tour with Ajee was amazing! You can choose your pace so we went at a very relaxed pace and ended up spending all day around the heritage site. He provided snacks, coffee, water and lunch which was all delicious. He is very passionate about Buddhism and gave us lots of information. Sometimes he speaks fast but you can ask any questions and he is happy to answer or repeat. It is a shared group tour. You can also book directly through him via WhatsApp +94 71 925 3542

We spent more than 4 hours with Ajee today. Pick-up 2 steps from the site with bikes. There were 5 of us with our grown children and he was particularly attentive to answering all our questions about the site, about Buddhism, and even about some first meditation exercises for one of our daughters! Ultra interesting guided tour to understand the site and the history, very pleasant bike ride, stop to drink because it was very hot. Frankly to be recommended with your eyes closed. Thanks again

We had such a great tour with Ajee, he is very flexible to work around your timeframe for the day. His passion and knowledge of the world heritage sites and Buddhism is exceptional. We also were treated to a delicious Sri Lankan morning tea and lunch to finish off the tour. We biked around 10km but you can do more or less. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Very good tour. Ajee is very knowledgeable about everything. He could answer any and all questions. His English is amazing and he seems to really care about all his customers. He supplied delicious snacks and even an amazing lunch at a local restaurant. Highly recommend if you want true knowledge about Sri Lankan Buddhism and a very intimate tour that can cater to any needs.

Ajee is full of knowledge and an amazing guide. We asked him a million questions and he always had an answer and with very good English as well. He continually gave us water and made sure we weren’t too hot or hungry and even took us to an amazing local spot for lunch after. 10/10

Ajee offered us a very beautiful discovery of Anuradhapura, both in terms of the temples and their history; he helped us better understand the philosophy of Buddhism. We tasted typical dishes. We had an excellent day with Adee; he adapted to our pace. He has extensive knowledge of architecture, history, and Buddhist culture. Going from temple to temple by bike is a fun way to keep the kids entertained. Adee is a very friendly and cool person. We recommend him 200%, he is the best.
