Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking Guide

We had an amazing experience doing the Mt. Batur sunrise hike. The views were absolutely breathtaking and made the hike up worth it. A special thank you to our guide Ari who was amazing! She always went at our pace, was so patient, and allowed us to stop whenever we wanted to rest, take photos, and she made it a really enjoyable the experience. She really helped on some of the tricky, slippery parts of the hike and I couldn’t recommend her enough as a guide. I would highly recommend this experience, especially with Ari as your guide!

Ari was such a great guide, from start to finish she made sure we were comfortable, went at our pace and helped us in places that were challenging. She went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time, thank you Ari. The hike itself was great, a little challenging but completely achievable for someone with a morerate fitness level. The views are totally worth it.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! The hike was challenging but rewarding. My driver was punctual, friendly, and excellent on the road. A huge shoutout to our guide, Maggie, who was amazing! She kept a great pace and made safety a top priority. As a slower hiker, I deeply appreciated how she constantly checked on me and allowed breaks whenever needed. Everything went well. Pick up from the hotel at night and transfer to the Mt. Batur was good. Our guide, Jason, was amazing. Very friendly and professional. The sunrise was amazing.

We had an amazing early morning sunrise hike experience! Kadek picked all five of us up promptly at 2am from our villa near Seminyak and made the entire trip smooth and enjoyable. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and drove us safely to Mt. Batur. He also made sure we connected with our guide before the hike and was waiting for us as soon as we finished. To top it all off, he even took us to AKASA Coffee afterward for a delicious breakfast which we needed because that hike was a good one. We truly appreciated his kindness and great service. Highly recommend and we would absolutely book with him again!

Coming to climb this mountain was in my list to do and this was one of the only tours I could find that accommodate solo travelers. We arrived at the summit in time to see the sunrise. My driver Toni contacted me the day before and arrived well on time. My guide Charlie also was very helpful making sure I did not fall during the steep steps of the climb.

THIS WAS TRULY A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE. We were dreading waking up so early in the morning but this was totally worth it. The tour company was well organized and picked us up on time to bring us to the meeting spot with the larger group. They didn't make obnoxious number of stops along the way and picked us up in a private car, which made the transport faster. Our tour guide, AGUS was absolutely amazing. He is very knowledgeable, was personable and kept checking in with us during the hike (which is in the middle of the night) to make sure we didn't fall behind. He went out of his way to find us great spots along the hike to take beautiful pictures that were truly stunning. He has so much skill that he should really be a photographer! When we got to the top, he quickly worked with this team to prepare us a protein rich breakfast. During the entire tour, we never felt pressured to do anything we weren't ready for and he left left no person behind. When we reached the peak, he showed us around cool spots for pictures and after the sunrise, he gave us a tour of all the spots on the mountain top. We had a great experience with this tour company today. We did the sunrise Batur hike. We were picked up nicely from our hotel in Canggu, initially Google Maps showed a wrong location, but our driver Rudi solved it very quickly. Rudi was very nice, great driving in crazy Bali traffic. Our mountain guide was Ketut, who was very friendly and attentive, he told us many interesting things about the mountain and always made sure everyone is okay. Definitely use this company if you want to hike Batur for sunrise.
