Douane construite à l'origine en 1889 au coût de 38 346 £ par John Petrie & Son. Il était à l'origine utilisé pour la perception des droits de douane et a été ouvert en 1889
Le Story Bridge est un pont en porte-à-faux en acier classé au patrimoine qui enjambe la rivière Brisbane qui transporte des véhicules, des vélos et des piétons entre les banlieues nord et sud de Brisbane, Queensland, Australie. C'est le plus long pont cantilever d'Australie. La route qui traverse le pont s'appelle Bradfield Highway. Le pont relie Fortitude Valley à Kangaroo Point. Le Story Bridge a ouvert en 1940 et a été péage jusqu'en 1947.
En descendant la rivière, nous traversons la ville et voyons tous les monuments historiques et modernes.
Southbank est un lieu très populaire pour les habitants et les visiteurs. Les plages artificielles et les lagunes de baignade sont très populaires. Les parcs se composent d'un mélange de forêt tropicale, d'eau, de zones gazonnées et de places ainsi que de caractéristiques telles que la promenade au bord du fleuve, la plage des rues, le Grand Arbour, le Courier Mail Piazza, la pagode de la paix népalaise, la roue de Brisbane, des restaurants, commerces et fontaines.

A lovely way to start the day in Brisbane, the weather was warm and the scenery fabulous. The commentary was interesting, educational and at times entertaining. The morning tea provided was delicious as were the beverages that you can purchase on board. If you have time while in Brisbane would highly recommend doing this.

Prepare to learn the history of the Brisbane Rivers and by passing iconic views and learning in depth knowledge of this historic buildings and bridges . We also got given morning breakfast tea with scones which i enjoyed while on the boat.

The river breeze was pleasant, and the staff were friendly, but the historical riverside buildings they explained were not really worth seeing. The so-called “morning tea” was nothing fancy—just a self-serve paper cup of coffee or tea and a small supermarket-style cupcake. For what it offered, the price was far too high. You’d be better off taking the same route on the CityCat ferry for a round trip. 川風は気持ちよく、スタッフもフレンドリーだったが、説明された河岸の歴史的な建造物も大して見る価値はなく、「モーニングティー」と言う大袈裟なものはなく、ただの紙コップのコーヒー又は紅茶とスーパーで売っているような小さなカップケーキ一つがセルフサービスで受け取れるだけ。この中身にしては料金が高すぎる。同じコースをシティキャットのフェリーで往復すればよし。
