Hard to complain. I'm not sure this is the right tour I'm reviewing. Our was called "Turks & Caicos Snorkel Cruise"... but we did do a morning cruise, went to a reef and then went to Half Moon Bay (Iguana Island). What others have said about bringing a towel and clothes that can get wet. You will get wet. The boat we were on had two bathrooms, which is very convenient. If you're like me and your butt itches when it's been wet, then I strongly recommend bringing dry underwear and a change of clothes. Half Moon Bay is absolutely idyllic, although it gets very very hot. I would also say you get a TON of sun exposure, so if you are sun-sensitive like me, make sure to bring tons of sunscreen, a shirt, a hat. You can absolutely get underneath the canopy on the boat and stay out of the sun, but not if you want to see things or explore. We saw a total of 3-5 iguanas. Most people didn't even seem interested in finding iguanas. The lunch is minimal but passible for what it is. They are quite generous with the rum punch and the other liquor drinks. I am perhaps a bit spoiled because I'm PADI (Scuba) certified and have dived in many places around the world. This reef was not the worst reef I've seen but it's also not the best. It may depend on where your particular boat gets parked/anchored.
It’s fun, do it! Excellent value because there was a variety of environments and activities. The staff was competent and kind, the equipment provided for snorkeling was in great condition, and the snacks, sandwiches and beverages were a nice addition on the journey. 100% highly recommended!
On time with good communication. The staff was great and sandwiches were awesome. Highly recommended
Captain Carlos was very good at keeping us on track and safe. Baba and Adams get the guests well attended welcome and safe!
Amazing time. Very family friendly for all ages. I was worried about it bring to rowdy for my kids but it wasnt like that at all. We had 7 people ranging from 3 to 68 and everyone had fun
Everything about the experience was fantastic. The directions/instructions were easy to follow. Upon arrival to the Alexandra resort, we were picked up by golf cart and brought from our vehicle to the beach, where we then boarded our boat and began the experience with ease. Big Lou and his crew were exceptional and the perfect guides. The snorkeling portion of the experience was super fun, and safe. The snorkeling equipment was good quality, and a guide is in the water with you the whole time. The second stop was the highlight of the day. We stopped at a private beach area with the most amazing water and views. Rum punch, juice/soda/water, snacks and sandwiches were premade for everyone on board. The final stop at Iguana island was also incredible. An initial short walk from the boat allowed us to see iguanas up close, which then ended with 45 minutes of time to hangout in the crystal clear shallow waters of the inlet/beach area. Crew members offered to take photos and really helped make the experience memorable. We finished the trip with a short boat ride passed some incredible homes and got dropped off where we started. 10/10 would recommend. Well worth the money.
It was amazing! The whole crew did an amazing job hosting us. A time was had! We’ll definitely be back and book this one again.
ThThe pickup was really convenient, and both the tour guide and captain were genuinely nice and friendly. The entire tour was very enjoyable, and they gave us excellent service, making the experience even more memorable.
We had a fantastic trip! We saw scads of turtles, a baby shark, gorgeous scenery. Johnny and Fio were fantastic guides! We cruised along Grace beach up to a spot to snorkel. One of our party was a younger kid and another someone unsure in the water. Fio made sure they were comfortable and stayed right with him. They were extremely happy. Thanks Fio! We went to Iguana Island and saw (you guessed it) iguanas but had a great lunch prepared by Johnny using some of the Conch they brought up. Everything was delicious!!
Amazing experience!! Super fun time- staff make this experience even better! Would go every time we are here!
