We had an amazing time with Xander! He is very knowledgeable of the history of the area and places we past on our drive to get to the national park. Kayaking on the Colorado River was beautiful during the day, but the night sky was amazing and peaceful! While we were having our bonfire a coyote decided to walk behind us. That was cool! I would highly recommend taking the trip if you're ever in Las Vegas!!!
The experience was amazing. Worth every penny. I believe our guide's name was Xander. He was an amazing guide. Saw a rattlesnake, had a campfire with s'mores and a scary true story. (optional) This guide also added a personal touch to his experience toward the end. This made the experience so personal and memorable that it made the trip for me and my wife. You won't regret doing this.
Soooooo beautiful <3 guides were super chill and amazing...Beautiful good people all around. <3 chrispy water... very refreshing and the view!!!!!
Robbie was great! I’m a little older, a little out of shape, and he made sure I had fun. I went on the night tour, and it was outstanding! The stillness of nature at night was such a unique experience. I’ll remember this one for a lifetime!
Robby was great!!! Felt like he was about of our group!! Best experience! Also thought us how to take night time pictures! We appreciate you SEVEN!
Our guide was Robby, he was great! Night time on the Colorado was relaxing and the amount of stars was awesome. Bonfire with S’mores was a bonus.
Amazing experience! Xander was awesome, ensuring we had fun and felt safe the whole time. Kayaking by moonlight was so different. We started whilst the sun was up, through to sunset then by moonlight. We kayaked for 1.5miles then stopped on a beach for a bonfire and smoores plus a ghost story! We saw a skunk, crayfish, herons, bats, a big owl and heard coyotes too. This trip is suitable for beginners. I would definitely do this again!
Absolutely phenomenal tour! Xander was super friendly and knowledgeable. There were a couple cancellations on my small tour so it was just me but it still felt like I got the full experience. The river and the canyon are absolutely gorgeous at sunset and the tour included a stop at one of the beaches with a campfire and s'mores before heading back. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be bringing friends back next time I'm in town
Great experience. Lots of fun. Very much for a beginner. - I asked twice for our glow sticks. I was offered a headlamp. Not the same. The other family already had theirs and took such fun photos in the dark. It felt like everyone else was offered an ice cream and we were given bottled water. Disappointing. -" You can also take part in a short hike to a place that will afford you a mind-blowing view." There is no hike. When we asked, were told it was too dark. It could not have gotten any brighter. There was a full moon. Change your advert.
Overall the experience was great, and our only suggestion would be to have a guide in the front and a guide at the rear while kayaking. The fire, smores, native flute playing, and local lore stories added to the fun. Xander and Lexi were great guides! Awesome guides!!! Overall 2 thumbs up!!
